How Is Medication Handled On Site?
Summer camps employ qualified nurses and med-certified staff to ensure that all medication, controlled or over-the-counter, is properly handled. There are also a number of CPR- and First Aid- trained staff members who can assist in medical situations. All of the program’s employees are given a basic training on first aid as well as on the importance of identifying and dealing with allergies and asthma. These staff members are also given information about common mental health conditions like depression and ADHD/ADD.

Youth Achievers Foundation Summer Day Camp - Florissant, MO
10 weeks (Jun 1st - Aug 7th) of traditional styled camp full day (8am-5pm) that has provided children with a safe and fun summer for over 50 years. Each camper has an opportunity to grow, discover, build confidence, and develop physically as well as socially. Daily activities are supervised by nurturing counselors and adult professionals who lead the campers through an activity filled day. Many members of our staff have grown up in the camp or Dance Plus and are thrilled to pass down the camp traditions by offering encouragement and motivation. The 7-13 year old children make friends, enjoy new experiences and become a part of our fun loving camp family. Grades 1-3 This is the camp for your child if they have little or no experience playing lacrosse. Campers enjoy a fun week of skill-building activities designed to improve stick handling, cradling, passing, shooting and defensive skills. All programs are co-ed, non-contact and skill-based. Please bring mouth guard, lacrosse stick, protected gloves, snack and water. Elbow pads recommended. Lacrosse Sticks are also available for use if needed Coaches: One on One Sports Training staff.
