Checkmate Champions is the future of chess teaching. This chess camp combines the Classical strategies of chess with new innovative modern technology that creates a very FUN-damental experience for all kids regardless of their chess playing abilities. Checkmate Champions is more than a chess camp, it?s a chess experience. While in the class, students will learn not only how to play chess but they will learn the rules, history, and also how to record their games so that they can reflect on them at a later date. Students will have the chance to play their favorite chess variation games such as Bughouse (team chess), Allies, Bobby Fischer chess and IPad chess to name a few. After all the fun and games, the kids will have the opportunity to participate in a real life class chess tournament. They will play against different opponents and get practice using an actual tournament clock. It's no secret we're a Tulane family. Both my husband and I graduated from the college and would love our daughter to be a legacy. The Ripples Day Camp was a perfect way to introduce her to the campus and all it has to offer. She became an excellent swimmer and is already talking about training to be a counselor next year. The Summer Camp: On The Road Tour returns in 2016! Mainstage Morgantown submitted 12 area bands from WV, PA, OH, MD based on website, social media presence, recorded material, tour history, festival history, and local fanbase. The Summer Camp on the Road committee chose the following acts: The Company Stores Fletcher's Grove Grand Ole' Ditch The Jakobs Ferry Stragglers Dale and the ZDubs Each paid $5 entry recieves a voters card to submit anytime during the contest. The winning band wins a paid spot on this years Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, NY.

This camp will be 3 days long and 2 hours per day. We will be working on Walk, Trot, Posting, Leading, Haltering, Steering, Grooming, Parts of the Saddle, Bridle and Horse, and fun trivia about care of ponies/horses. Every kid learns at their own pace. I am here to teach them about horses and riding, while being safe and aware. If they are soaring, I let them soar and will continue teaching them new things. If they need to slow down and work on some smaller things, then they get to. This young age group is here to learn and have fun doing it. Dance Arts & Tumbling $185 Rising K-2 July 11-15 8:30am-2:00 This camp will get your childs creative juices flowing for the summer. Each student will learn creative movement, tumbling, stretching, and basic dance steps. We will create art and craft projects that will be used in different dances. On the last day we will have a short showing for parents 30 minutes before camp is over. Swimming 3 - Brigham Young University
Come join coach John Brooks and his staff at the BYU Swimming Camp. Our camp offers four days of training and feedback. You will define your own specific needs as a competitive swimmer, determine personal training guidelines to meet these needs and then develop individual goals to increase your performance potential throughout the year. To help determine these guidelines, you will receive interval training evaluations and coach critiques specific to your needs. Throughout the week you will increase your performance potential through the use of drills, workout sets, time trials, competitions and video sessions. In class, you will discover the theory behind powerful, winning strokes. You will study detailed sequential movements of competitive strokes, learn fundamental competitive techniques, view contemporary training films and receive valuable feedback from the analysis of personal videotapes. In the pool you will undergo extensive drills, workout sets and time trials. You will review your personal videotaping in class to give you insight into your training strengths and weaknesses, helping you increase your competitive edge. The Princeton Tiger Camp is a teaching camp covering all facets of the game. Our goals are to improve your skills, teach cutting edge techniques and advance your understanding of game concepts and team play. Campers are grouped according to age and ability levels with a great staff who keep the game fun and who are committed to helping each camper reach a new level of play. Goalkeepers will receive specialized instruction for their position. Highlights include a camper/staff game, King of the Hill tournament, and the annual skit night/talent show. (609) 258-3369
06th 2016 Camp, Buckaroo DAY Camp (4 Day) - Blue Point Stables
This Camp is a 4 (Four) Day Buckaroo Day Camp. Camp begins each day at 9:00 EST and ends at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. The Wednesday Night Overnight stay is offered only as an option, and has an additional charge. Campers are not required to select this option. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts, Horse Health and Welfare and Swimming Pool fun at the end of each day. Plus, making friends or renewing previous relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers have the option to purchase and challenge the test for a CHA riding level. Campers receive the appropriate CHA Riding Level Book. Successful campers are awarded the appropriate Certificate, Patch and Pin. Campers falling below the testing standards are allowed to retest. Day campers will need to bring appropriate clothing for each day, to include layered warm clothing on cooler days and rain gear when needed, as well as, their lunches, snacks and drinks for each... 865-376-9312
