Telling Tails Story Time - Kid's Reading Program ( Campus for Compassi
Children ages 6 and up, are invited to share their favorite stories with our furry friends while they await adoption during Telling Tails Story Time. This free hour of storytelling helps our cats practice their people skills, while students grow more confident in their reading skills. It’s a win-win, and totally adorable! The Parent-child camp begins setting the foundation for athletic development using tennis as a vehicle to learn. Kids begin to train their fine motor skills, balance, and throwing skills. this is a good camp for parents to be involved in their childs sports development. 209-604-2455

Sports Camp week 4- Soccer - Orchard Park Recreation
During the first hour of soccer camp, children will focus on the basic skills of soccer such as dribbling, passing, shooting and goal tending , as well as agility and foot-eye coordination. Goal tending will only be taught to those children who volunteer for this position. During the second hour, children will be able to eat a healthy snack and then participate in a series of cooperative games that will enhance their capabilities of being a good teammate and showing good sportsmanship. The third hour of soccer camp will be spent discussing the various rules of soccer such as hand ball, pushing and tripping, and playing modified games of soccer. CLAY ART CAMP: SEA WORLD - Ben Robertson Community Center
Join us for a fun week of imagination and creative travels to sea world! Campers will create a star fish bowl and unique wall art using multiple pottery techniques including coil, pinch and slab methods. Explore a new media and create one-of-a-kind masterpieces. Campers will get to experience using a pottery wheel on the last day of camp. Materials: A separate fee of $25 is payable to the instructor on the first day of camp for art materials, clay, glazes and kiln supplies. Campers should bring a snack and water each day. Lego Robotics (Afternoon) - BASIS Independent Brooklyn
This 2 week introductory robotics program uses the Lego NXT Robotics framework to introduce students to engineering and technology ideas. Students will build a sample of simple robots to solve problems with real world applicability.
