This class will consist of daily bike rides to different places to participate in a variety of sporting activities such as visiting local parks and playing soccer, frisbee golf, and organized games. Dave Parrish Memorial Youth Rugby Camp - West Saint Paul, MN
This is the first annual Dave Parrish Memorial Youth Rugby Camp! This is a non-contact rugby camp open to kids in middle school and below. The cost is $10 to help cover costs of renting the dome, and the first 50 registrants get a FREE rugby ball. While this is run by Eagan Rugby's Middle School program, this camp is open to kids in surrounding areas. Dave passed away far too soon in January 2015. But before he did he made a lasting impact upon our Eagan Rugby program. He loved working with kids and introducing this wonderful sport to them. Thus, in his honor (and thanks to his memorial foundation), we are thrilled to present this opportunity to kids.

We also have 2 Mission Service openings for ages 15yrs - 17yrs and 2 openings for Co-Counselors In Training 18yrs -19yrs old. We will be having it at Wauaway Springs Christian Retreat Center in Vossburg, MS and we are keeping the cost low. You can start paying deposits in January 2016! See our flyer for more information!

Saint Frances Cabrini School 2016 Spring Production "Suessical Jr." Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat, our narrator, tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child who gets in trouble for thinking too many "thinks." Hortons challenge is twofold - not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must also guard an abandoned egg thats been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping, and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and emerge triumphant! CODING Through the use of Code Studio and Scratch students will examine the connections between elements of mathematics and computer science in a fun and engaging environment. Students will also engage effectively in a range of collaborative discussions (one-on-one, in groups, and teacher-led) with diverse partners on grade 3-4 topics and texts, building on others ideas and expressing their own clearly. • Construct a program as a set of step-by-step instructions to be acted out. • Develop a simple understanding of an algorithm using computer-free exercises. • Use the basic steps in algorithmic problem solving to design solutions. • Describe and analyze a sequence of instructions being followed. • Use visual representations of problem states, structures, and data. • Use abstraction to decompose a problem into sub problems. • Examine connections between elements of mathematics and computer science including binary numbers, logic, sets, and functions. • Students will generate and compare multiple possible solutions to a problem based on how well each is likely to meet the criteria and constraints of the problem. STRIDE is a fun after-school running and character-building program for boys in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Throughout the program, the focus is on doing ones personal best, not competing with each other. STRIDE meets twice a week for a total of 10 weeks. The practices are held after school and last for 75 minutes. Each session includes a lesson/discussion, a game/activity, and a running workout with trained coaches.
