This trip is reserved only for our senior high campers. The joy of skimming across Adirondack Lakes in kayaks is one to be remembered for a lifetime. Your route will take you north from Long Lake through the Adirondacks most wild and beautiful canoe area. Your group will travel along the Raquette River, into Stony Creek Ponds, and finally into Upper Saranac where a special Island waits for our campers alone. Kitchen Kids CIT program provides the opportunity for teens to develop leadership and culinary skills. This program is ideal for high school students who love helping younger kids and being in the kitchen. Being a Kitchen Kid CIT is fun and rewarding. Special roles include assisting culinary coaches with mini lessons at the start of each day, prepping ingredients, providing support to the younger chefs, supervising clean up, creating extra recipes throughout the week, organizing the farmers market day, and leading their own small group at the end of the week.
