CrossTimbers Pre-Teen 5th-6th grade camp pre-registration is open until July 24th. You can register @kidz.fbcada.org the cost is $180 per camper. Parents here is some information about CrossTimbers Children’s Mission Adventure Camp. It exists to support local church efforts to reach lost children in their communities and to raise up a generation of kids with an authentic walk with God who actively serve others with missional living. Learn biblical principles for worship, missions, evangelism, and life. Create and strengthen relationships with God, family, and others. Experience nature in a fun and safe environment. The camp is designed to offer four days of intentional spiritual investment in a child’s life. Day one: Evangelism Day two: Instruction from the Word Day three: Challenge to Serve Daily Day four: Camp Theme
Teen Adventure Camp - undefined, NC
In this program, designed exclusively for teenagers, students will develop a new sense of confidence and empowering self-reliance as they explore nature, ancient skills, and the lore of the Native Americans. Wilderness Survival Skills are the core of this program. Students will learn numerous outdoor skills, such as Primitive fire-making, shelter building, safe water purification and how to identify wild edible and medicinal plants. From here we'll expand outward and introduce your teenagers to variety of nature awareness exercises. These lessons will engage and enhance all of their senses and heighten their level of Awareness for their entire lives. Teens will come away with a true understanding and respect for nature and life in this great program.
Teen Youth Camp - Jackson, KY
Teens. Youth Camp is just around the corner - July 27-31. If you are planning to attend this camp with Pastor Danny, contact him and he will help you get registered. The cost is $100/per student. If your family is unable to raise the money for camp, contact the church office. We do not want any student to miss out on this spiritual impacting week because of $100. Mount Carmel Youth Camp is in Kentucky. Brochures are on the table in the foyer.

Riverwalkers - Bluff Lake Nature Center
River Walkers will explore the waterfalls, creek beds, and shaded pools of the Sand Creek to investigate how all of life needs and uses water. Campers will discover how the birds, mammals, bugs, and crawfish of Bluff Lake interact with its water sources through hands-on activities, animal encounters, and expert presentations. Campers will have the chance to measure, draw, observe, and play with water as they perform water quality testing, sail boats and build their own dams. Prepare to get wet, meet some aquatic creatures, and have a blast! All campers will learn from science experts, play learning games, make projects, meet new friends, cool off in Sand Creek and have supervised exploration time. Park Adventures Camp - Historic Yates Mill County Park
This adventure camp allows participants to gain a sense of accomplishment by attaining goals in a unique historical setting and diverse natural environment. Daily camp themes include (1) Explorers & Mapping, (2) Pioneer-Farmers & Agriculture, (3) Millers & Mechanics, (4) History Detectives, and (5) Artist-Naturalists & Ecology. Among other activities, Day 1 includes a hike around the park, orienteering exercises and a canoe float; Day 2 includes a planting activity and visits to a local organic farm and the State Farmers Market; Day 3 includes a mill tour and an inventors workshop with simple machines; Day 4 includes a group mystery to solve and a road trip to the NC Museum of History; and Day 5 includes wildlife studies and sketching, pond dipping with nets and cane pole fishing. This program is almost full. Consider the waiting list as a backup option. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a drop off program for ages 7-14; fee: $184.00/child (includes a $4.00 mill tour). Music/Chorus-The Science of Gardening - Amador Elementary School
MUSIC/CHORUS Branch Out into Music Singing and playing an instrument can be so much fun, but some students just dont know where to begin. This fun-filled class includes music basics, singing, and playing the recorder. From there, students may be able to branch out into playing another instrument, or learn to sing harmony in a choir. THE SCIENCE OF GARDENS Gardening, kids dig it. Each day of class will have a hands-on science and gardening theme. On the first day of class, we will learn about the basic needs of plants and students will plant seeds. On each subsequent day we will explore topics such as leaf adaptations, flowers & pollinators, fruit, seeds & seed dispersal, beneficial insects, garden art, and sustainable gardening.
