Camp Yakety Yak (CYY) is a 501c3 organization that was created in 2010 to help children with special needs (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disability) grow socially and emotionally by improving their communication skills. Our educational mission is twofold: 1) provide instruction in social & emotional skills to children (ages 6-11) with special needs & their siblings to support friendship development in a day camp setting and 2) provide an opportunity for future professionals in educational and therapeutic fields to gain knowledge and hands-on experience in working with children with special needs. Eighty percent of our staff members are students from local universities and high schools who receive 30 hours of training and ongoing supervision by our professional faculty. 9713033901.0

Middle School Teen Camp 2016 - Augusta, WV
The Theme this year is: LIFE IS MESSY! Registration for this COST FREE week of teen camp begins at 4:30 on Tuesday, July 5th. Activities for Middle School could include (but is not limited to) Boogie Bowling (with strobe lights), laser tag, basketball, carpet ball, ping pong, volleyball, bike riding (Middle School week, helmet required), waterpark, putt putting, water slide, water balloons, swimming, paddle boat riding, playing on playground equipment, softball, hiking, sharing bathroom & shower facilities with other campers, sleeping on floors in rooms at the Church building, worship and recreation,and traveling to activities. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or stained and bring plenty of towels.

April Teen Event-NY Cares Day! Last event of the spring! - New York, N
The sun is shining, the buds are blooming, and NY parks need to be cleaned! Come to the LAST teen event for this school year for NY Cares Spring Day. We'll meet at 8AM in Manhattan and then travel to a park to help get them ready for spring with thousands of other people around the City. Last year we planted a garden on top of the Staten Island Ferry Building. Did I mention that you get a free t-shirt and this is your LAST chance to recieve community service with us for the school year?. Exact location to come, but let us know if you want to spend the night in Manhattan. This event is for ages 14+

Camp Kaleidoscope - Field Trip Camp Session 2 - Veterans Memorial - Recreation Center
Camp will offer youth, ages 6-10 years old, a wide range of activities to keep them active during the summer months. There will be ten sessions of camp, each one week in length. Five sessions will have a featured field trip and five sessions will have a special event or a wild life animal presentation. All costs, including transportation by charter bus for the featured trip, are included in the cost of the camp program. Children will also enjoy activities such as arts & crafts, outdoor games, indoor games, music & drama, special events, cooking projects, bowling, movies, swimming, hiking, and much more. A schedule will be given out the first day of each session. Children will be divided into age groups. Each group will be assigned a leader and a junior leader or leader in training. Cost Includes: Camp T-shirt, field trip fees, and all supplies! Please be sure all items are clearly labeled with the campers name. Participants must have a Health Information Form on file PRIOR to participation in camp. Extended care available.
