The next level of summer camp fun sure to entertain any 5th - 8th grader. Middle school aged campers will have the option to register for one of two options in the morning then stay for an afternoon of Camp Craze. This one week half day program is full of colorful summer fun! Kids will create art projects each day with a summer theme. Through projects that include body motion, story-time, and music, campers will create unique pieces of art that connect to science, history, and math. Well compare fresh and saltwater habitats through hands-on experiences like sampling for water-dwelling animals and performing simple water tests. Field trips will take us to see where our water comes from, how water is treated after we use it, and on a visit to the Chesapeake Bay. Well also spend time boating and fishing as we learn all about water, the plants and animals that live there, and how to better care for our watershed.
