Purple Tennis Nation is hosting a week of action packed tennis activities designed for beginning and intermediate level players. Each day will be loaded with drills and activities that will improve any level of player and instill a love for tennis and build character. Friday will be tournament day where all rally ready players will be grouped by age and ability to put their new and improving skills to test. There will be daily snacks and all players will receive a camp t-shirt. Sibling discounts available. Contact Community Services Department for more information. Discounts not available online. 4-H Teen Summit - Session 3 - Nancy, KY
Kentucky 4-H Teen Summit is held annually at the Kentucky 4-H Educational Center in Jabez, KY. The conference is for youth who are currently enrolled in 6th, 7th, or 8th grades. This program is designed to develop leadership, citizenship and communication skills in youth. While at the conference, all participants get to learn in fun and educational workshops taught by members of the Kentucky 4-H State Teen Council. The conference also includes motivational speakers that get young people excited about leadership. The cost to attend is $115 which includes meals, lodging, and transportation. Ralph Gross Memorial Baseball Camp - Nashville, AR (Scrapper Dome)
The Ralph Gross Memorial Baseball Camp will be held on Saturday, March 5th at the Scrapper Dome in Nashville (AR). The Camp will be held from 9 am - 12 noon for ages 8-15 years of age inside the Scrapper Dome. Participants will get to hear instruction on all phases of the games from hitting, fielding, pitching and running from a instructor/staff that has been involved in professional baseball on all levels. Since 1989, PRO-DAY Baseball has been teaching young players the finer points of the game, have sent hundreds of players into professional baseball, along with hundreds and hundreds of others have went on to receive baseball scholarships to colleges/universities across the country. Players need to register in advance, the camp is "Limited". Proceeds will benefit the Ralph Gross Memorial Scholarship, which is given to a high school senior each year that plans to go off to college to play baseball and continue their education at Nashville High. 888-224-6150

Science Olympiad Camp 1/2 Day (Grades 6-9) - Community Middle School
Science Olympiad Camp (Grades 6-9) Half Day The Science Olympiad Summer Camp is an excellent opportunity for students to experience what it is like to compete in a Science Olympiad Tournament. Students choosing the ½ day option will participate in 2 Science Olympiad events, while those choosing the full day option will participate in 4 events. The camp events are the same as those used in the State and National Science Olympiad Competitions. At the end of the 2 week camp, campers will participate in our camp competition which will be modeled after actual Science Olympiad competitions. Instructors are current members of the High School North Science Olympiad Team and former members of the Community Middle School Science Olympiad Team that has won 13 consecutive State Science Olympiad Championships and 2 National Science Olympiad Championships. Your camper is guaranteed to have a great summer in Camp Buckeye! Buckeye campers will create beautiful works of art, learn new games and get an introduction into classic sports like soccer. Each Wednesday, Buckeyes will get in touch with their creative side with music and enrichment activities. These campers can frequently be seen splashing in our tot pool or if they pass the swim test, hurtling down the water slides in the main pool.
