I sent my 15 year old daughter to the 3 week session and she LOVED it. Which is amazing because my daughter is like many teenagers and is too cool for everything. This summer art camp will be daily July 12th-15th from 10-12. Each day they will leave with a completed art project. 4 projects in total. Self-portrait, monster rocks, scratch art, and watermelon canvas painting. I will post pics of others in comments. Cost is $100 for the camp and includes all materials and lots of fun! Ages 5-12. Let them join me for this awesome art camp so we can create masterpieces together!

Nature Discoveries (Parent & Child Class) - Maple Hill Farm- Spear Room
Trees, wildlife tracks, birds--the outside world is alive in winter. Take time out with your young children to explore whats going out outside in winter. Each session will include a story to stir up our curiosity, an arts & craft, and a venture outside weather permitting. Create a connection and love of outdoors in your children. Cook with a Pro & Iron Chef [B] - Coyote Central
In Coyotes professional kitchen youll pick up the tools, techniques, & complex ingredients that chefs count on to make foods taste & look fantastic. As you build your basic cooking techniques, youll create four or five delicious plates each session. Your chef will give you choices of menus & hell welcome your ideas. Kayak Fishing Camp - Week 5 - The Greenwell Foundation
Kayak Fishing Camp is for children ages 8 – 12 (by first day of camp session). This camp combines two of the favorite activities at camp – kayaking and fishing! The week begins with a lesson on the water learning kayaking skills with a certified instructor. The campers will then have two opportunities during the week to be on the water, combining these two skills – and hopefully catch some fish! With help from a member of the Maryland Saltwater Sport fishing Association (MSSA), campers will have on-land instruction learning how to tie lures, cast a line and what fish can be found in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Friday, the campers get to choose if they want to fish or go crabbing from the boat launch or fish from a kayak. In addition to all the fishing and kayaking, campers will also have the opportunity to do archery, field games, crafts and get wet with water games. Each afternoon, campers are provided an afternoon snack and each week a chance to make Smores. The week ends with Tye-Dye Friday for a take-home memory of the week at camp. The Details! Beginners volleyball is designed to introduce all the skills in volleyball including serving, passing, setting, and hitting. This class is designed to introduce volleyball, movement and hand eye coordination to elementary players. Please come join us for this new and exciting sport! Showtunes: Sing and Dance (August 15) - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
One of the most difficult aspects of musical theatre is being able to sing and dance at the same time. This camp will help to develop this ability. Working hard to prepare a selection of show tunes for a live performance will give the campers quality experience and better prepare them to participate in musicals at school and in the community. Campers will perform in large and small groups while also allowing each child to take the spotlight with a singing or dance solo within the group numbers. This is an opportunity for your child to build a talent that many young performers struggle with. INSTRUCTOR MICHAEL PAGE has been teaching theater for 8 years and has been choreographing in local community theaters for the past 10 years. He recently received a BA in Theater and Dance from Christopher Newport University. He currently works as a Music and Movement Teacher at VHBC Preschool as well as teaches classes at LTA, Mount Vernon REC Center, and Browne Academy. He teaches private acting, dancing, and guitar lessons from his home.
