M.I.G. WELDING & TORCH BRAZING - Mirabella-Finch Studio
Instructor: Roger Finch This course is for students who want to weld steel that is 1/8 inch thick and up. At their own workstation, the students will learn M.I.G. Welding, Torch Brazing and Plasma cutting. These skills can be used to create anything from Garden Art to building a utility trailer. Each class will include theory, demonstration, and individual hands-on instruction. All basic supplies, including the Welders Manual by Roger Finch and the Victor Welding Guide are included in the materials fee and supplied on Class #1. A personal safety equipment list will be provided upon registration. NO Pre-requisite student/instructor ratio: 4 to 1 706-722-5495

Join Coastal Camp for a week of outdoor skill building! Navigate our beautiful national park using your compass and newfound map skills. Learn about the Coast Miwok, an indigenous people who thrived in the coastal landscape. Check out mysterious historical buildings and what secrets they hold. Build a basic shelter with natural materials and play a few rounds of camouflage tag in the Cypress Grove. 415-331-1548

Join us as we travel in time across the Milky Way and observe the amazing Universe. With twenty great astronomy projects, this is the camp that your child will be talking about for a long time! Explore Earth-Moon-Sun relationships, stars, planets and galaxies, asteroids and the impact one particular asteroid had on the Earth millions of years ago. Model our solar system, build a sun dial, experiment with screaming balloon rockets, use solar glasses, make and use a star finder, construct a telescope, build and launch an airburst rocket, and design a UV bracelet. 805-570-1988
