Come join Molly Bocian to the messy world of 3D art! The students will be exploring paper mache and clay techniques over the course of the week. Ceramics techniques will be taught each day, and large paper mache sculptures will be crafted throughout the week, painted and ready to take home on the last day of camp. This will be a messy week, and while everything will be washable, aprons or old shirts would be welcome. So get your kids excited for the joy of sculpture this summer! 206-524-7009

Skyhawks Beginning Golf Skyhawks Beginning Golf focuses on building the confidence of young athletes through proper technique and refining the essential skills of the game. Skyhawks has adopted the SNAG (Starting New At Golf) system as its curriculum. SNAG is specifically designed for the entry-level player; SNAG simplifies instruction so that young players can make an easy and effective transition onto the golf course. No need to bring your own clubs--all equipment is provided. The students will be having camp at a park, not on an actual golf course. All participants receive a t-shirt and a merit award. The participant-to-coach ratio is approximately 8:1. Participants should bring appropriate clothing, two snacks, a water bottle, running shoes, and sunscreen. The leadership camp focuses on hands-on applied projects in various disciplines while covering topics such as public speaking, study skills, writing, technology, and organization. Students participate in team building activities while learning to delegate, rely on others, and practice decision-making skills.
