Our USA Triathlon Certified Coaches will be sure your child is well prepared for their kids triathlon! We will practice swim, bike, run and transition skills right in their race course! Healthy post event refreshments and race goodies too! Each child earns 1 point towards series awards for participating in the clinic! Jump Start Flag Football - Rotary Park
The All Pro Football camp will teach campers the basic fundamentals of football in an atmosphere that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork and the joy of sports. This program is ideal for children who have never played organized football, as well as those who have played youth football for several years. In addition to learning fundamentals, techniques and strategies of the sport, campers will participate in flag football games every day as well as fun games and contests such as "Punt, Pass, and Kick" and "NFL Fast Football". The week will culminate in a fun "super bowl" on the last day of camp which parents will be invited to attend. Volleyball: Lower School Team Skills - Main Campus
The Harding Team Skills Volleyball Camp for 3rd to 5th graders builds on the skills acquired during the June Individual Skills Camp (serving, passing, setting, attacking). Fast-paced team drills and games focused on enhancing court awareness, better understanding of game flow, anticipation, readiness, transitioning between offense and defense. Lower school girls continue developing ball control and playing the game correctly (three touches "pass-set-hit" vs. volleyball "tennis"). Daily team recognition. Camp ends with a tournament, which is always a blast. Join us for a fun week with friends, classmates and teammates, playing the game we love. Preparation for 3rd-5th grade fall volleyball league (October-December). Introduction to Sports Performance - Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School
Participants in this session will explore and learn sport and athletic performance methods including but not limited to strength, power, explosiveness, speed, quickness, agility, and endurance. Students will be taught multiple exercises, techniques, and routines that can be useful in developing a solid foundation in performance training. They will be exposed to isometric, isotonic, and isokinetic muscular contractions. All attendees will be tested on several different athletic performance measurements and given their results at the conclusion of the sessions, therefore providing areas in which they can improve in the future. Coach Joel Clem is Brebeuf Jesuits Strength and Conditioning Coach, Wellness Center Coordinator, and Physical Education faculty member. During his time as the strength and conditioning coach for Brebeufs athletic teams, he has trained State Championship volleyball, soccer, and hockey teams. He has also trained State Runner-Up football, baseball, soccer, and golf teams.
