2. Spring Camp: Maker - 5 Days - Gizmos & Gadgets Kids Lab
Gizmos & Gadgets will give both sides of your childs brain a really fun workout when we take BIG and MESSY and ART, combine it with DESIGN and PROTOTYPE and TEST and add a dash of EXPLODING SCIENCE and then wrap it all up with an awesome BATTLE of the CANDY MACHINES. In this creative and educational camp we will immerse the kids in those projects you would never dare attempt at your house (the messier, the better is our motto!). We will let them think big and expose them to all dimensions of Science, Art and Engineering all in one fun camp. Each day the kids will use the systems engineering process to define, design, prototype and test amazing builds. During the week the kids will build their own candy ( or anything!) dispenser! This is no cardboard dispenser – this is the real deal! Kids will make their dispenser out of wood by creating their own design. They will hammer, saw, drill or however they want to put it together, that really drops out candy (or anything cool like marbles!) Project Camp - Camp Judson
For students entering grades 9 and up. Projects will include some major clean-up work, such as clearing brush and building fire lines, fix-up jobs, wood cutting, simple construction and other needed repairs or improvements to camp facilities and grounds. Rip City Basketball Camp Sess. I & 2 - NHTI, Concords Community College
Campers wishing to sign up for Sessions I & II can do so with this registration process. Session I: Day session from 8:30 am-3:30 pm Session II: Night session from 4 pm-8 pm (only 4 nights--no Friday night camp Boys and girls in grades 4-11 Every camper will take a short break between the end of the Day Session (3:30) and the start of the night session (4:00 PM) to rehydrate, have some snacks and get refreshed before transitioning to the night session. Campers coming for the whole day should bring snacks/lunch/drinks...bring a ball or purchase a camp ball from our camp store....come ready to play. Session I (days) is different from the night session. Session I offers a traditional style camp with regular teams and games.
