The Middle Blocker camp will be a camp that focuses on blocking, transitioning, and attacking from the Middle Blocker position. There will be a full progression of each skill and how they are used in gameplay throughout a match. Middle Blockers will also combine with setters to work on the connection with a live set. We will work on all the different types of sets that a Middle Blocker hits along the net. Campers will receive a T‐Shirt. 859-233-8300

Although they mentioned "life changing" on their mission statement I though that was just advertising. It turns out this truly was a life changing summer for our daughter. She was also a sweet girl a little on the shy side. But this summer she seemed to blossom. She came home confident and eager to participate in activities at our church. Kids day camp for Juy 11th, to July 15th, 2016 Ages first grade through age12. Camp runs Monday through Monday – to Fri - 9:30am to 3:30pm Before and after care are available for an additional fee - see details below. Camp must be pre-registered. Our program is focused on teaching historical arts connected to the martial culture of Europe in the time of the 18th and 19th century. We teach history and real world skills related to the time of pirates and privateers. Learn the skills of sabre and cutlass Learn about European History and sailing culture Play pirate games Craft Projects and learn to tie knots learn sea shanties Camp takes place at our facility in West Portland. Children will train with lightweight sword simulators and safety gear. They will have the opportunity to handle steel replicas of the real thing.
