Southwest Basketball, conduct basketall camps, leagues, tournaments and basketball personl training for childern ages 6 to 18 male and female. Our camps normally last a week,(Monday through Friday). A day at the camp usually last for 3 hours. We teach all the basic fundamentals of basketball. The last hour of the camp is reserved for games and general fitiness. YOUTH LEAGUES The players get 10 games. There is a tournament at the end of the season. The players practice once a week and play once a week, an hour for practice and the games usually last about an hour. PRE-TEEN CAMP - Woodlake, TX
We are now taking reservations for PRE-TEEN CAMP! Ages are kids in grades 3-5 (just completed). Camp will be at the Pineywoods Baptist Camp in Woodlake, TX, July 30-August 3, 2016. Times shown are approximate. We will release schedule closer to the date. Cost is $275 Total, with a $50 deposit due upon registration. We will be taking a charter bus to the camp. WPC Annual Youth Winter Retreat - Silver Lake, NY
If God threw a party, would everyone be invited? Would You? Well you are all invited to come on the annual Youth Winter Retreat What if Jesus meant something very different by the concepts of heaven, hell and salvation from how we have been taught and understand them? Pastor Larry DeVuyst will lead us to tackle these questions and more as we work through our retreat study from Rob Bell’s book, Love Wins, for Teens. As always there will be fun games, good food, and time with friends. Complete the retreat form found on WPC website youth page and turn it in to my mailbox with a check for $50 by 1/8. We need a count for food, games and supplies so please reserve your spot soon. Pick up the easy to read book from Pastor DeVuyst to read ahead. Do you have dreams of owning your own business and start a product line! From fashion to home décor, Bizzy Girls will help you create a product, write a mini business plan, name your company, create a logo, ad campaign and video advertisement. Learn about cost, profit and branding. Upon registration, girls will receive a link to many product ideas so they can choose a product before camp starts. Each product will have a small list of supplies to bring to camp, all under $20. At the end of the camp we hold a pop up store where the girls get to sell their products and keep their profits! This is educational and fun! Supplies: Campers should bring a packed lunch with a beverage, snacks and plenty of water each day. Attire: Summer active wear and athletic shoes. July All Skills Camp - Commuter - Kirwin/Blanding Complex
This three-day comprehensive camp focuses on challenging each camper to take their game to the next level. Campers will be divided by skill and work with the coaches to enhance their knowledge of the game and improve their skill set. Serving, passing, attacking, defense, blocking, setting, team transition and team competition will be taught throughout the camp. This camp is designed for those entering the 6-12th grades. Space is limited so register early. Deposit is due at the time of online registration with the remaining balance due on or before the first day of camp. Additional check-in information will be attached to your confirmation email after registering online. There is a $50 processing fee for cancellations. Camp will be held at the Seaton Center, Memorial Coliseum, Joe Craft Center and additional UK facilities.
