Four Elements Kid's Camp - Naples, FL
Children 5 to 12 years are invited to one or both days of our half-day camps. Our activities will reflect each of these four elements, and be predominantly outside, so dress for comfort! We’ll explore air and fire on Thursday, learning about the power of air currents and our biggest fireball, the sun. On Friday, special guest Valerie Flanigan from Driftwood Garden Center will help us make and/or decorate stepping stones for our garden (earth), then we move to the element of water, where we create an ocean in a bottle and play with watercolor magic. We end with Tai Chi by Elena Roubicek! Registration is required and each session is limited to 10 participants so we can give our best to each child. All materials are provided, including a snack. Parents are welcome to attend as well! Register via email: [email protected], or in person at the table on Sundays in front of Youth & Family Ministries. Learn about the field of Biomimicry as you develop a product based on nature to design and market to the NESS judges, investigate the power of currents and wind using experiments and iPads, look into green technologies related to wave and wind power. Camp Casa (Ages 12-14) - Casa Mañana
Camp Casa is a place for students ages 8-14 of all skill levels to come and participate in professional training in the performing arts. It is a place for beginners to develop their theatrical craft and have fun, as well as a place for the advanced to hone their artistic skills. In addition to rehearsing and producing a full-length show (see below), campers will take classes in acting, music and dance. This years Camp Casa show will be THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE JR. By Gilbert and Sullivan! Camp will be held Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM, June 27-July 15 2016. Performances of THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE JR. will be the weekend of July 15-17. The cost of Camp Casa is $1,000, plus a non-refundable $25.00 registration fee. A deposit of at least 10% of the full cost of the camp is due upon registration. The remaining balance is due no later than the first day of Camp (Monday, June 27th). You may cancel your registration up until 5PM on Monday, June 6th. After that, you agree to pay your remaining balance unless we are able to register someone from the waitlist to fill your spot. Tuition does not include tickets for performances. 817-321-5040
