Masjid al-Noor Youth Camp is an exciting opportunity to spend time building brotherhood/sisterhood while enjoying recreational activities, and spending time with Shaykh Noman Hussain. The camp will be open for youth between the ages of 12-18. If there are any children that would like to attend under the age of 12, they will be allowed attendance ONLY IF A PARENT/GUARDIAN attends as their chaperone. Brothers and sisters will be in separate accommodations in the same campsite under the supervision of adult male and female camp counselors. PTHC Kid's Camp-Volunteers Urgently Needed! - Philadelphia, PA
On June 4th, 5th, and 6th, the Philadelphia Convention Center will be host to the annual Philadelphia Trans-Health Conference, the country's largest gathering of transgendered individuals, families, allies, and caregivers. Part of the festivities is the Kid's Camp, where we endeavor to provide safe, affirming, and awesomely fun activities to the children attending the camp. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we are low on volunteers on Friday afternoon and evening and all day Saturday. If you are available any portion of the day Friday from noon to 7 p.m. or Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and can supply a valid child abuse clearance (within the last 2 years), please message me. I volunteered at the Kid's Camp of PTHC last year, and it was a truly amazing experience! I hope you'll consider joining us! Please also consider sharing this message!
