The Perfect Family Vacation
We were looking for a different kind of family vacation away from the crowded theme parks. What we found at Camp Heart was the perfect space. First of all, you can beat being surrounded by all that pristine nature. There was plenty to do. Everyone had their time on their own and time as a family. We want the year 2015 to be different from past years and we expect hundreds of believers to gather together to get closer to Him through anointed worship, excellent teachings, powerful prayers and wonderful fellowship. There will also be Youth service, Sunday School and Nursery for young children. The camp will be from: Friday, June 19, 2015 to Sunday June 21, 2015 Special guest speakers: Rev. Edward Hovsepian-Mehr Pastor Mike Brock from GateWay City Church (Guest speaker for Youth) Fees: These fees are for 2 nights and 3 days including 5 hot meals. Taught by Chelsea and David Lee. For intermediate/advanced students. Three-week session runs March 14-28 7-8pm, $60/person. Open dancing 9-11 pm, FREE if youre in the class Have you been wanting to learn Balboa? Its not too late to start! This 3-week class is for beginner Balboa dancers and those who want to brush up on their basics. Musical Theatre & Movement (Saturday) - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This class is designed for preschool to 2nd grade students. Youngsters will enjoy learning and singing popular childrens musical theatre classics, e.g. The Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty & The Beast, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, The Sound of Music. They will also be introduced to simple musical theatre dance steps, all in a gentle, relaxed environment. INSTRUCTOR HEATHER SANDERSON studied classical theatre at RADA in London and prior to moving to Alexandria acted extensively in the San Francisco Bay Area. As "Miss Heather", she is known locally for instilling a love of theatre - in particular Shakespeare - into the hearts of children. Her youth Shakespeare troupes have performed in D.C. and in the U.K. and her privately coached monologue students have performed at the Shakespeare Theatre, the Fords Theatre and numerous community and childrens theatres in the area. Heather may be familiar to fans of British television programs through her Tea with Heather segments on Maryland Public Televisions Afternoon Tea.
