Summer Kids/Teen CrossFit Camp - Gig Harbor, WA
Join us for the kick off to our Summer Kids/Teen CrossFit Camp. We will be doing baseline measurements to test speed, explosiveness, and strength. Then re test every 5 weeks. A makeup test will be performed on Tuesday, Maybe 21st at 4:30pm. Your child should arrive on time, with proper attire and footwear. Flat bottom shoes are preferred for lifting. They should be well hydrated and have eaten. They should also bring a water bottle. We have water to fill their bottles, but will not provide cups. We will go the full hour each day. We will split out time between inside and outside, so sunscreen may be needed. Parents and driving teens, please drive careful when coming up Foster, especially across the Cushman trail cross walk. Also, be aware of clients from classes before and after the camp coming and going. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot and across the street in the grassy field.

NE/IA Camp Woodmen is a week filled with swimming, outdoor laser tag, archery, climbing wall and zipline (campers ages 12-15) and fun for all! Students will learn to create fused glass jewelry using specialty fusing glass plus iridized and dichroic glass to create unique artwork. Learn the simple secrets for making expensive jewelry while watching kiln firing demonstrations. Beginning to Intermediate level, ages 16 and up. For 2-5 year olds, this weekly class combines creative movement with story time! Its a fun learning experience that builds language acquisition, developmental movement, conceptual understanding, personal expression, social skills, and creative problem solving. We will use our bodies with assistance from our expanding imaginations to move through stories to reinforce verbal literacy through the young childs strong kinesthetic intelligence.
