Kid's Day Camp (K-2nd Grade) - Conway, AR
Kid's Day Camp, afternoon session, for Kindergarten-2nd Graders. Register online at https://kideventpro.lifeway.com/myChurch/?id=30834 by June 6th. Campers will use the "participant registration" and chaperones will use the "volunteer registration." Cost is $12.50 for church members or $25 for non-members. Youth strength and conditioning camp - Houston, TX
Calling all youth athletes and aspiring athletes!!! Parents, Bring your kids out to this clinic to improve their knowledge and skills in core strength, conditioning, footwork and combat fighting drills. This is a free event that is proposed for kids from second to eighth grade. The instructors of this event are Police Officers who enjoy working with youth on becoming better people and athletes while giving tips to improve their proficiency in any sport. If you are interested in signing your child up for this event please contact one us in a direct message. Again, we want to advise that this event is designed to give workout tips to all athletes!!!! Please be aware that this is a volunteered event and injury may occur. If injury occurs, we encourage parents to contact medical personnel. The Mind Thats Mine - 5th-6th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Timko How does your brain learn best? Through the course of a week students will explore this question using the latest brain research. Students will discover how learning impacts their own attention, language, memory, higher order cognition and social cognition. Simulations, hands on activities, group discussions, brain scans, and video clips will be the focus of instruction. Our advanced camps are aimed towards players aged 10 and above who have playing experience. This camp is all about improving your technical ability and knowledge of the game. A big part of this camp is working on positioning, decision making, applying skills in the right times and allowing players to learn through playing the game. Mini Camp Science Fun, Planet & Stars - Parks and Rec Office and Cavins Community Center
Activities we have done in the past include building a solar system models out of paper Mache, building and /or launching rockets, and studying constellations.
