Well make rainbow density columns that are safe to drink, create secret messages for our friends and explore how polar bears stay warm in below freezing temperatures. JUMP START SPORTS- LACROSSE CAMP (FULL-DAY) - Ben Robertson Community Center
Get ready to learn all about the fastest growing sport in the United States! Lacrosse has elements of soccer, football, basketball and hockey. Once you try lacrosse, youll love it! All equipment will be provided in this highly instructional program. Campers will receive training on all fundamentals, including passing and catching; fielding ground balls, cradling, spacing, positioning, and defense. Plastic sticks and soft balls will be used which eliminates the need for helmets and shoulder pads. No checking, stick checking, or poking will be permitted! Join anytime during the week (fee will be pro-rated). Multi-Camp Discount: Register for two or more full-day Jump Start Sports Camps and receive a $15 discount off the registration fee for the second and each subsequent camp. Supplies: Campers should bring a packed lunch with a beverage, snacks and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. Let Your Imagination Soar! Spring Science Camp is a fun-packed, one week day camp led by top notch, enthusiastic Recreation Leaders where kids get to have ?Aha!? moments of creativity and discovery while building and playing with unique toys, astonishing gadgets, and fantastic gizmos -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please bring any recycled item for various planned science projects on the first day of Camp. Tumble and Cheer - Fine Arts Academy
Tumble/ Cheer will teach young athletes essential skills to lead the crowd and support the home team. Our cheer camp will ensure that each camper will learn cheers, proper hand and body movements as well as jumping and tumbling techniques.
