Learn the FUNdamentals for this lifetime sport with the University of Minnesota School of Golf. All Participants will experience the latest techniques in golf training and specialized starter equipment. Campers age 6-8 will learn putting, chipping and full swing technique through games and drills, plus etiquette and rules. Older campers add in pitching and additional training stations, plus get a chance to apply their skills on the course and learn more about how a golf course operates. These sessions are best for beginners to those with moderate experience. Bring golf clubs if you have them; some equipment is available to share. Please plan accordingly for the weather with a cap, sunscreen, water bottle, and umbrella or rain gear. All registrants agree to the policies and procedures of Youth Programs, including change fees, cancellation fees, deadlines, and other details found in the program materials and parent handbook. Join all of Gleann Abhann as the Shire of Pilgrims Fount hosts the 2016 Fall Coronation at Camp Formosa near Clinton Arkansas on September 30th -October 2nd. Over the next couple of months we will be showcasing what some of the sights and features that we make this a coronation one to never forget! Rock Springs 4-H Center in Junction City, KS. It is about 2 - 2.5 hours away from Kansas City. Transportation will be provided, Insha'Allah. (Please see details below.) WHO MAY ATTEND THE CAMP? Young youth boys and girls ages 10-18 only. WHAT IS THE COST TO ATTEND THE CAMP? The cost is $120 per child by July 20th midnight. After July 20th, the cost will go up to $140/per child. Registration space is limited! WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER? For the early registration discount, the deadline to register is by Friday, July 20th. After July 20th, the prices will go up to $140. Registration will close @ 11:59 on July 31st or earlier if seats are filled. WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED FOR THE CAMP? This camp will be directed by current Bowdoin College Assistant Coach, Scott Faucher. The one week camp will feature instruction from current and former college players and coaches who excel at teaching the fundamentals of the game. The daily schedule will include drills for skill development, games, and use of the swimming pool. Direct from NEW YORK CITY, Broadway Workshop returns to Saint Michaels Playhouse for its 9th summer. Camp Vermont is a five day musical theater camp. Learn from Broadway Workshops acclaimed staff from New York City, as well as Playhouse stars who have worked on Broadway and at theatres across the country. For 2016 this camp will take place from Tuesday-Saturday (July 5th-9th) Campers will take center stage performing in 2 different hit Broadway musicals medleys specifically arranged for Camp Vermont. Learn in a small group environment where you will receive individual instructor attention and have access to your own pottery wheel throughout the week. Improve on the details of handles, feet, rims and design elements and explore different ways to glaze your pots before they are fired in the kiln.
