Youth Empowerment Camp - Troy, MO
This annual leadership training camp is a gathering of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, asexual, allied, and intersex (LGBTQQAAI) designed and created by youth activists and allies who are dedicated to defeating homophobia and transphobia and creating brave, supportive schools for everyone. Camp is driven by young people. This year we are renting a huge camp at Cuivre River State Park with Cabins, Dinning Hall, Firepit and even a pool located just a little over an hour from St. Louis, MO next to Troy, MO. KCF Teen Camp - Terra Alta, WV
Kingwood Christian Fellowship's Teen Camp 2015 is open to all high school teens (grades 9-12). Cost of camp is $35.00 if you pre-register by August 15 or $40.00 if you register after August 15. You can register up until 6:00 p.m. at the camp on August 21, the first day of camp. Siblings who register together each get $5.00 off of the cost of camp. Discover skills of the ancient scout, nearly lost to history, if it weren’t for a handful of people who kept these practices alive. A scout must live in honor, balance and harmony with the earth in order to blend with nature and move over any terrain like a shadow. There’s also an aspect of martial arts in this camp, using tricks of mind-over-matter to help us accomplish feats that seem impossible. Mathnasium Week 2 - The Chapel School
Mathnasium of Scarsdale is pleased to be invited back to Chapel School for a 3rd summer with our Focus Math Camp! Enroll early because this must do camp will book up fast! Help your student stay math minded this summer in this fun and engaging math camp. This week long intensive will focus on multiplication, fractions, and word problems through games, activities, manipulativeness and work sheets. Students will receive both group and one on one instruction. At Mathnasium our goal is to significantly increases math skills, understanding of math concepts, and overall school performance for children in Pre-k through 12th grade, while building confidence and forging a positive attitude toward the subject. 3/13 2:15pm SEUSICAL Audition - PYT Studios
Pre-register for a 2:15pm audition time for Peninsula Youth Theatres CENTERSTAGE production of "SEUSSICAL." Registration guarantees you a spot in the 2:15pm audition group. You must be age 8-18 or have prior executive director approval. Children must be 8 by 3/17/16 to participate. PLEASE NOTE: TO KEEP YOUR SPOT you must arrive by 1:45pm with your paperwork completed for check in and measurements. If you have not arrived by 2:00pm your spot will be given to someone on the waiting list and you will be moved to the next available audition slot. We cannot guarantee that that will be the next audition group. Ages 6-12. Lets go on an artistic journey around the world. Well bring our passport along from port to port. From Russian nesting dolls, to Chinese dragons and everything in between. Wearable Art: Teens and Adults - Peninsula Fine Arts Center
In this class students will create one-of-a-kind, awesome art to wear. Paint a T-shirt, jeans or jacket with instructions on using fabric paint, textile design and color coordination. Next, knit or crochet a scarf, vest, tote bag or purse and learn to bead and embroider designs on the finished project. Bring your own clothes to paint!
