High School - Baker Rink (Check-In Location)
The Princeton University Girls Ice Hockey High School is designed for High School (entering grades 9-12) players whose aspiration is to play competitive hockey at the collegiate level. This camp features 14 hours of ice time. Morning sessions will focus on the fundamentals of skill development and power-skating. Players will learn proper body position, edge control, and how to lengthen their stride. Puck protection, passing and scoring will be skills taught. The afternoon session will consist of and team play/concepts. Players will learn all aspects of team play and will develop skills through collegiate style practices. Coaching will parallel standards we teach to our college team. Games will be played Tuesday night, Wednesday night, and Thursday morning. Beginning Fishing Camp - Black Hill Visitor Center
Enjoy a week of fishing fun and adventure while learning how, when, and where to catch freshwater fish. Well fish Little Seneca Lake first to get some experience, and then travel to waters outside of the park for new challenges. Park naturalists will provide expert, hands-on instruction on balanced tackle, live bait, artificial lure selection, knots, casting, and the latest fishing techniques. Well send out an itinerary and equipment list prior to camp. The camp fee includes all bait and a well-equipped tackle pack with a variety of lures and hooks perfect for the beginning angler. This is our Culinary Camp week. This week we will be moving around the Bay Area taking daily field trips to learn how to cook. Each day we will head to a different kitchen around the Bay Area and learn from a different about daily cooking themes. As always we will experience this while using public transportation to navigate our way. ***Note****: Due to the locations and the variety of different chefs we are working with on this camp week, we must advise that there will be dishes with nuts, gluten, and other possible food allergies. At this time we advise all children with food allergies that this is not the best choice for you.
