We will be playing games and instruments in this melodic camp. Using patterned text from childrens songs and poems, we will actively "do music" while gaining stronger literacy skills. You will experience many literacy components such as syllabication, phonics, and rhyming. We will use pictures and context clues to decode new vocabulary. This day camp is for children in kindergarten through 8th grade. My 6 year old son and my 10 year old daughter have both have learned the importance of being responsible and respectful through this camp. Teen Director's Camp - New Bern, NC
Info and application posted under Children's Programs on Rivertowne's Website! www.rivertowneplayers.org This week long camp will meet every afternoon. We will work with local directors to learn technique, stage blocking and tableaus, the audition process, vetting and preparing a show, ect. Guest directors will visit with us to tell us about their personal techniques. There are VERY limited spots. An application will be available for the first two weeks of June. This is FREE OF CHARGE! We do hope to host a teen show this spring, and the production team will come from this camp.
Wolf Mountain Teen Camp - Grass Valley, CA
Teen Camp is for all teens going into 7th grade through those who are graduating this year. Come Join us for a fun filled, spirit filled week of awesome games, food, and preaching. We will be hold a Registration Sunday on March 6th at which time all completed registration forms and a $50 registration fee are due to recieve a discount on the total cost of camp. Pathfinders - Bluff Lake Nature Center
Pathfinders will engage their adventurous spirits as they learn outdoor skills and exciting ways to thrive in nature. Campers will immerse themselves in the natural world as they discover shelter building, map-making, plant identification and animal tracking. Daily storytelling and hiking will be sure to keep everyone active and engaged. With their own survival kit in hand, every camper will be eager to share their new knowledge of and appreciation for the outdoors. All campers will learn from science experts, play learning games, make projects, meet new friends, cool off in Sand Creek and have supervised exploration time. The Fort Frankfort Adventures Summer Day Camp is back for another awesome summer. This camp is designed for children entering 1st - 6th grade this fall. This full day camp will provide plenty of outdoor activities, water days arts & crafts and a feild trip each week. Fort Frankfort Summer Adventures Summer Day Camp will be held a Commisioners Park, located at 22108 S. 80th Ave. in Frankfort. The Frankfort Park District continues its partnership with School District 157C for the use of Chelsea Middle School, which is located next to Commisioners Park. We will use the facility for before and after camp and during inclement weather conditions. The camp will run from 9-4pm, Monday thru Friday, with a bfore and after care option. Bring a lunch and water bottle each day. Luch may be included on certain field trip days.Registration must be done in person at our main office located at the Founders Community Center, 140 Oak Street. INSTRUCTOR Staff

The earth is constantly changing and moving. Most of the time we dont even notice unless there is a big change! Discover how coastlines and islands were formed, experiment with how water moves through sediment, and explore the science of hurricanes and how they affect the coastline. Go kayaking, snorkeling, and boogie boarding to become one with our dynamic Earth! Includes: boogie boarding, kayaking, snorkel adventures, playing in the salt pond and the ocean. 860-535-9362

Treibball Week 4 - Animal Training Adventure Center
Treibball is a new way to play with your dog! Its a competitive sport for dogs of all ages and sizes. Treibball promotes better teamwork and communication between a dog and his handler. Its great fun for any energetic dog who works well off-leash and needs a job. Playing the game uses a combination of classic obedience and herding cues. Treibball began in Germany to give energetic dogs some much needed mental and physical stimulation. It is a great game, and a perfect pastime for American dogs and their owners, too! Its fun for any dog that loves to play chase games, herd, or just use his amazing, problem-solving ability. Competing in Agility takes special equipment, the ability to run with your dog and direct him through each obstacle. Treibball promotes the same kind of teamwork and communication, but does not put any physical stress on the handler. This game can be used to build confidence for a shy dog and help a reactive dog with impulse control. The session will also include animal-themed games.
