Strummin For Fun Ages 7-11 Beginner and intermediate players welcome! Well learn the basics of guitar playing by engaging in fun musical games and creative group activities. Our lessons will include learning to play melody by reading notation and TAB, chords and mini-chords, strumming patterns, song form, improvisation, songwriting and singing, and an exploration of various guitar styles. We may even have a guest artist or two drop by for a visit! Campers will perform a short concert for parents and friends on the last day of camp. Director: Hal Engler 9194932642.0

2016 - Camp 4 Kids CIT Try-Outs - Orange, CA
The heartbeat of Camp4Kids is our volunteer staff. After all, without a great staff, who would bring the magic of summer camp to the kids and teens who need it most? Great Counselors aren't just born, they're carefully trained! Our Counselor-in-Training program (CIT for short) is the venue through which we teach teens the skills and expertise necessary to care for campers. CITs must be a minimum of 16-years-old at the time of camp. Though previous camp experience is not required, it certainly helps. After extensive training "down the hill" (outside of camp), CITs are paired with Senior Counselors while in camp, receiving first hand experience and one-on-one training, learning what it takes to be an effective leader while in a supervised and controlled environment. Being a great Counselor comes from years of training as a CIT. Come down and try out! RSVP through private message.

5 Week Session Option GROVELAND RESIDENTS ONLY - Bagnall Elementary School
Choose any five weeks for your child to attend. Additional weeks may be added later by contacting the Director at the established rate. Weeks CANNOT be added at the rate difference between each available session program. For example, if you register for three weeks and then decide to add two additional weeks, the cost WILL NOT be the difference between the three week program and the five week program. Boys Two Week Camp II - Camp Sancta Maria
The day at camp is set within the Catholic framework of a daily Mass and prayer service, but each year we welcome campers from all faiths. A two-week session at CSM has proven time and again to help build confidence and awareness that campers take home and to school. Spending two-weeks living, playing and praying with friends made on the basketball court or in the mess hall creates a bond that can last a lifetime. In this camp from Youth Digital, kids learn kids how to create animated movies using their favorite Minecraft characters. At the end of camp, kids will walk away with a fully animated 3D Minecraft® movie that they can share with friends and online! Theyll also be able to access the online version of the course after camp, including video tutorials, interactive quizzes, and new challenges. Kids will learn the fundamentals of character animation, including facial expressions, keyframe animation, walk cycle development, and forward and inverse kinetics. Theyll also learn to use pro-level 3D animation software, Blender. Each student will walk away with a foundational knowledge of 3D character animation, so they can go on to make any Minecraft animation they can imagine. Coasters Grades 2-3 - Community Cycling Center Bike Shop
From exploring new neighborhoods to spanning distances they didnt know they could ride, Coasters experience the empowerment of a week on two wheels. Riders build confidence in this camp by tackling many different riding situations both within parks and on the road. They also gain experience riding both up and downhill in conjunction with proper shifting techniques for those with geared bikes. Its not all hard work though – Coasters will take breaks from their bicycles by playing games in local parks. Its a packed week of fun! Please note: Coasters camp will ride on streets. To participate, riders must be able to consistently start and stop unassisted and ride in a straight line. Skills they will develop: • Proper execution of emergency and anticipated stops • Avoiding hazards • Shoulder check and scanning for cars • Identifying types of intersections and crossing safely • Controlling speed riding down a hill • Signaling and communicating with other road users • Tube patching 503-288-8864 x321
