Boys Adventure camp has been providing adventure and fun for boys for more than 40 years. Parents say they love Adventure camp because their boys come home having learned Biblical principles they can apply in every day life. Spend one week at adventure Camp and you will leave with new friends, great memories and a closer walk with Jesus. Centered around the conveniences of the Pacific Pines Camp in Crestline in the San Bernardino Mountains campers experience exciting games, great campfires activities each evening, awesome crafts, delicious food, and swimming are available. In addition to the normal camp activities every boy who comes to adventure camp gets to master an adventure skill like Canoeing, Marksmanship (archery and BB guns), or Outdoor Living. This year we are preparing a special Fourth of July celebration to enjoy the birth of our country. With our small group approach to camp ministry Adventure camp also provides a great place for each camper to spend quality time investigating Gods Word and coming to know Jesus Christ and His good news better. The staff at Sandy Hill Camp is great. We noticed that they had a vast ethnicity so many children were able to find counselors that looked and talked very similar to them. We went to this camp because of its great reputation. There are so many things to do for all the kids, and they’ll make so many friends. You’ll end up having to take them back summer after summer. Rogue Robots: LEGO Robotics Camp - San Angelo, TX
Robots aren’t just inventions in a galaxy far, far away— they exist here on Earth, at your local library! Join us this Winter Break for a Star Wars-themed robotics camp. Each day we’ll watch a clip from the movies, and build a LEGO robot inspired by the film. The library will be hosting two four-day camps—attending all four days is not mandatory, but each class will build upon the previous classes. No prior experience in LEGO robotics necessary, but seating is limited so RSVP is required. Call (325-655-7321), email ([email protected]), Facebook message (TGCL Teen Republic), or drop by in person to reserve seats! Sign-ups will open November 21! This is a Teen Republic program, open only to patrons in grades 6-12. Free of charge. We will meet from 3-4:30pm in the Community Room.
Firefighter Youth Camp - Limerick, PA
Limerick Fire Company's Third Annual YOUTH FIREFIGHTER CAMP June 20-24, 2016; 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Ages 6-13 years of age Registration Fee: $35; deadline to register: May 30, 2016 Welcome to Limerick Fire Company’s Youth Firefighter Camp. Due to the success of our camp, the deadline to register cannot be extended and attendance is limited to 60 campers. All registered cadets will receive one LFC Fireman’s tee shirt and LFC baseball cap to wear as their ‘daily uniform’. Hat and designated ‘uniform shirt’ must be worn every day because it identifies which group the cadet is assigned to for the week. If you are interested in purchasing extra camp shirts, they must be ordered at the time of registration-$10 per shirt. Why try this Camp? You will: ►Learn fire safety you thought you knew & then apply what you’ve learned ►Learn about the fire house, trucks (apparatus), and personnel ►Hands-on with various equipment ►Ladders-learn the how-to’s ►Hoses-proper techniques to connect to the hydrant, flow water, roll up, etc. ►Extinguishers-the ABC’s ►Rescue tools during simulated live demonstrations ►Fire gear-bunker pants, jacket, helmet, safety gloves & glasses all provided ►Watch & participate in several live demonstrations with the firefighters ►And so much more….
