The second annual Kid's Safety Boot Camp will be held on May 20th from 8:30AM to 4:30PM. This years camp is for students completing grades five through 7. Registration is limited to 25 students. C.O.C.’S ART DAYS C.O.C. Offers Camps On 1/2 Days, No School Days & School Breaks for Grades K-12 When school is out, art is in at C.O.C.! Each ‘No School Day’ Camp features different art adventures. Will it be Animating, Collages, Painting, Illustrating, Jewelry Designing, Clay Art & more. You can choose which 3 classes you would love to experience. You & your child can pick which art activities they want to do each day. We have an array of fun, innovative & artistic options. Each child will be able to pick up to three different activities a day. Our goal with the C.O.C. Art Days is to create artistic roots for the children. Art is a very fun, relaxing & engaging activity. C.O.C. bases their art days off of the Victor, NY Public School Calendar. We are adding more Art Days for families attending schools in different districts. All camp days begin at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. We do have early arrival & late pick up available for parents. *Kids are asked to bring a bagged lunch. -Snacks are provided. This is one of 3 opportunities to interact with troubled youth in an effort to disuade them from the road to ruin they are on and introduce them to the road less travelled. Kids will learn computer programming using Scratch software (developed by MIT) and Code.org. During camp, students will think creatively while learning programming basics. By the end of the camp, these budding programmers will be able to put their imagination and creativity into the form of a computer program. This class is a great introduction into basic computer programming. Developed specifically for kids Grades 6-8, Computer Programming camp is a great introduction into coding and logic-based thinking. Birdie Bombers (Ages 5-9) - Whitetail Ridge Golf Club
Do your children love to: play games, run around, jump obstacles, roll down hills, make friends, and have FUN? Do you think they would love to do all that, while they learn how to GOLF?! The answer is, undeniably, YES! Birdie Bombers Program will introduce FUN golf related exercises and activities to our existing golf instruction! We will spend roughly 30 minutes on basic instruction, along side 30 minutes of FUN activities and exercises! All of our youth baseball, basketball, football, tennis, and swimming camps have been implementing FUN activities to build strength, speed, endurance, and hand eye coordination. Years of research has taught us how important Fitness and Nutrition is to the golf swing. The balance learned from walking across a balance beam relates directly to the balance required for a great golf swing. The speed and weight transfer involved with swinging a golf club can be improved by throwing a ball as far as they can. Simply rolling down a hill will teach them body control and rotation which is directly related to the golf swing.
