Get ready to figure out the why, how and wow of computer programming in this interactive coding camp! The camp explores many aspects of gaming, both on and off the computer. Using MITs Scratch computer language, kids learn how to program their very own unique games and animations. In addition, campers apply problem-solving strategies to create offline, traditional games such as checkers, labyrinth, and the electrified board game "Operation"! All camper projects are theirs for the taking, whether its a computer program uploaded to MITs website or an original board game to be played at home with friends. Children the whole world round have delighted to the telling and re-telling of Rudyard Kiplings beloved story of how the Elephants child got his trunk. This charming musical adaptation perserves much of Kiplings clever text with its fascinating word rhythms and oral imagery, while five original songs capture the mystery and humor of Elephants childs exciting adventure down the "Great Grey-Green Greasy limpopo River". Costumes, dance, and wonderful dialogue mixed with the these great songs will give our youngest actors a spectacular time creating a mini-musical for family and friends while learning how to work as a team. How do stack up against the best? Now its your chance to prove it in this animal vs. kid smack down! How do you size up running against a Komodo Dragon? Can you hold your breath as long as a giant sea turtle? Pull as hard as a giant octopus, or bite as hard as a croc? EcoAdventures will provide the outdoor and indoor Arena you bring the skills. This August, its kids against beasts in a battle on the wild side. This is NO ordinary Olympics here at EcoAdventures. We will challenge you both physically and mentally. Do you have what it takes to lay down in cockroaches, eat bugs, race and alligator? We cant wait to see who wins GOLD, SILVER or BRONZE!
