Teen Week Overnight Camp - Fort Worth, TX
Teen week was so much fun during 2016, we have added it again for 2017. This is a special session only for those 13 and older. Space will be limited and run at a lower number of campers than traditional sessions. This week will focus on activities designed for older campers. At YMCA Camp Carter Overnight Camp, campers live, play and build deep bonds with their peers. Campers must rely on the others in their cabin groups to share daily responsibilities. Teen Week Overnight Camp, runs from Sunday afternoon until Friday evening and includes 15 meals and overnight accommodations in a fully climate controlled cabin with lots of supervision by our well trained staff.

I cannot believe that I am a part of such an amazing organization that does so much good for kids struggling through so much adversity. Being in an organization like Camp Kesem has opened my eyes to how generous and kind people can be. Camp Kesem is an organization run by students who spend a ton of time all year fundraising money to allow children whose parents have or had cancer go to a fun, stress-free summer camp. Although this is my first year as a part of this wonderful organization, I already feel so strongly connected to all the counselors and want to do as much as I can to allow these kids to go to camp. Hearing all of these stories about how the kids tell such heart-warming stories, I feel like I would learn more from them than they would from me. It gets me even more excited to learn about all the various events we get to set up and how much fun everyone has every year that they go. Rogue Robots: LEGO Robotics Camp - San Angelo, TX
Robots aren’t just inventions in a galaxy far, far away— they exist here on Earth, at your local library! Join us this Winter Break for a Star Wars-themed robotics camp. Each day we’ll watch a clip from the movies, and build a LEGO robot inspired by the film. The library will be hosting two four-day camps—attending all four days is not mandatory, but each class will build upon the previous classes. No prior experience in LEGO robotics necessary, but seating is limited so RSVP is required. Retreat 2016: Endurance - Proclaiming the Everlasting Kingdom - Naches
Each year the WGBC youth and guests spend 3 days in fellowship and under intensive instruction in the Word. The program includes worship services, bonfire fellowship, games, and various activities. This is a unique opportunity to establish new friendships, renew the old, and serve each other. But the most important aspect of this retreat is the time during the services when young people will be united in worship. Another great blessing of this time is the opportunity to interact with our pastors who will be there with us the whole time. This year's theme: The book of Daniel was written to encourage the Jews in exile by revealing God’s program for them. They are reminded that God is sovereign over the affairs of all rulers and nations. A key aspect within the overarching theme of God’s kingly control is Messiah’s coming to rule the world in glory over all men (2:35, 45; 7:13, 14,27). All of the kingdoms of this world will come to an end and will be replaced by the Lord’s kingdom, which will never pass away (2:44; 7:27). Though trials and difficulties will continue for the saints up until the end, those who are faithful will be raised...

The Harding Team Skills Volleyball Camp for 6th to 8th graders builds on the skills acquired during the June Individual Skills Camp (serving, passing, setting, attacking). Fast-paced team drills and games focused on enhancing court awareness, better understanding of game flow, anticipation, readiness, transitioning between offense and defense. Middle School girls continue developing team synergy, as well as achieving an advanced level of proficiency, utilizing three hitters, serving aggressively to get more aces, and converting serve-receive into a kill. Camp serves as a good jump-start in preparing for the Harding volleyball season (August-September). Daily team recognition. Camp ends with a tournament, which is always a blast. Join us for some serious, but always fun, volleyball.
