Coon Rapids - Week 5 - ICE SPORTS Week - Broomball, Skating, Hockey - Coon Rapids Ice Center
The AKA All Sports Camp experience is unique in its inclusion of a variety of ice sports. This year AKA is proud to announce another summer featuring the AKA Ice Sports Week - Broomball, Curling, Skating and Hockey (Week 5). Thanks to the help of the USA Broomball Association kids will receive professional instruction and understanding of the sport of Broomball. ***Equipment is necessary - all kids must wear a helmet (hockey, football, bike, etc.) to be on the ice. Featured Fieldtrip - Zero Gravity Indoor Trampoline Park FYI - The actual day camp runs from 9am-4pm though kids are welcome to get dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6pm. Lego Robotics Camp - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
More than toys, LEGO building blocks are a doorway to mathematics, science and technology. They also are a blast to play with! Students in this camp will explore creative options with blocks, then work with FIRST LEGO League Jr. simple machine kits to explore key scientific models like levers, pulleys and gears. By the end, they will be on their way to FLL Jr. participation in the upcoming competition season, or just have enjoyed great hands‐on opportunities to learn some basic engineering.
