KIDS CAMP- Midwest Women's Herbal Kids Camp - Almond, WI
Kids Herbal Camp offers children the opportunity to attend the MWHC while learning about herbs through age appropriate activities. The Kids Camp offers guardians the opportunity to attend the conference along with the children in their lives. Guardians will be able to attend classes kid-free and know that their children are also being exposed to plant wisdom. Kids Herbal Camp is for children ages 3 – 11 (boys and girls are welcome to participate) and activities will be planned according to ages. This year the kids Herbal Camp is run by Heidi Huebner, founder and steward of Blue Bird Hill Homestead in Hudson, WI. Kristine Brown will be offering a workshop session for the kids too! We have 6 Camps $44 per week ($24 Single Day Drop-In) Only 2 weeks (on Tues & Thurs) out of each Summer month. 1st Camp, June - Tues 21st & Thurs 23rd 2nd Camp, June - Tues 28th & Thurs 30th 3rd Camp, July - Tues 19th & Thurs 21st 4th Camnp, July - Tues 26th & Thurs 28th 5th Camp, Aug - Tues 9th & Thurs 11th 6th Camp, Aug - Tues 16th & Thurs 18th Dress Code will be more relaxed but still able to move and dance in, preferably leotard and tights and Ballet shoes with hair out of face...and no clothing with glitter ;) We also ask that Parents drop kids off and pick back up, NO Peeking or Sitting and watching until we present our Showcases on the Thursdays 3:55pm :) We will hold the Camps if we have a minimum of 2 dancers but will cap each day at 10 dancers. It's the last day before everyone goes back to the real world, but there's still a summer's worth of unfinished business to resolve. It's still Jewish. It's still weird. It's completely improvised. Camp Fowler Festif - Orefield, PA
Now in its 5th year, Festif is a family fun event that combines cycling, trail running, entertainment, food, and fun. Rides range from family friendly distances to a quad burning 44 miles. All riders will have cue sheets and routes well marked. There will be rider support on each route and both the 20 and 44 mile route each have a well stocked rest stop. NEW for 2016: 5k and 10k Fox and Hound runs! Chase our "fox" around Camp Fowler during these trail runs. The 5k is both family and walker friendly and prizes will be given to anyone who is able to follow the foxes clues and catch them before the finish. Cycling or running isn't for you? The Junior Buffs Camp is designed for the beginning player looking to learn or improve his or her skills. Campers will be divided into groups by age and skill level while learning appropriate movements and volleyball skills in a fun atmosphere. Whether you are new to the sport or just want a refresher course on basic skill in a pressure free environment, this camp is for you! Every registration requires full payment. A $50 fee will be retained on all cancellations for any reason to cover credit card fees and administrative expenses.
