Teens. Youth Camp is just around the corner - July 27-31. If you are planning to attend this camp with Pastor Danny, contact him and he will help you get registered. The cost is $100/per student. If your family is unable to raise the money for camp, contact the church office. We do not want any student to miss out on this spiritual impacting week because of $100. Mount Carmel Youth Camp is in Kentucky. Brochures are on the table in the foyer.
2016 Duluth FCA Youth Sports Camp - Duluth, MN
The Duluth Youth Sports Camp is a day camp for young athletes entering grades 2-7 (Fall 2016) who want to develop their skills in several sports and build their personal character. Campers will choose two sports to train in for the duration of camp and will be divided into groups for age appropriate training. Morning Sports: Baseball (boys), Volleyball (girls), Soccer (coed) Afternoon Sports: Football (boys), Softball (girls), Basketball (coed) Note: All registrations are being taken online and must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. Your West Circle Drive Hy-Vee is offering a series of cooking classes designed to teach teens (age 12-17) essential cooking skills! Each class will feature a different theme. Teens will be able to eat their creations at the end of the class. July 28th: Italian cooking: pastas and sauces Classes will be taught in our DISH classroom by the in-store dietitian and one of our talented chefs. Fees: $25 per class, due on date of registration. We will act out stories, improvise news interviews with fairy tale characters, create set pieces, engage in music, movement and puppet activities and much more! A showcase of our favorite stories will culminate this ensemble building experience. Children spending the full day with us should bring a sack lunch for our lunch break at the park Musical Theater Week Thank you for the music! In this camp, students will have fun exploring their own personal voices through songs and dances from various musicals! In addition to drama and improv games that foster theater skills in creativity, self-expression and teamwork, campers will create their own show that incorporates songs from their favorite musicals.
