My daugher and son like the science and art at this camp
My 5 year old daughter loved Camp Galileo. Since they group children by ages, she got to meet other children with similar interests. She was having so much fun she didn’t realize she was also learning about science and art. My 9 year old son enjoyed the outdoor activities. His favorite game was playing Star Wars tag. The summer is the perfect time for your teen to learn how to sew clothes! The Staple Dress is a fun, beginner first clothing project. In this workshop, we will teach your teen how to read and cut a pattern, and sew a dress of their very own! A basic knowledge of sewing is required for this class. July 21st-22nd: 1pm-5pm (8 hours total) $65 includes pattern and elastic thread. Campers should bring fabric (see chart) and coordinating thread. Campers can bring a snack if desired. Ages 13 and up

Lacrosse Camps - Lacrosse Camp - Petaluma Community Center
Each day is filled with fundamental lacrosse skill progression drills, easy to understand instruction as well as games and competitions. These lacrosse camps offer beginner to intermediate players the opportunity to build a solid foundation. Boys and girls receive positive reinforcement throughout the day to help build proper warm-ups, footwork drills, catching, dodging, agility, passing, cradling, shooting, defense and game strategies. This is a great place to develop their individual skills in a fun and positive environment. Urban Trail Bike Camp - Kids on Bikes Community Center
This fun and safety focused urban trail riding camp offers kids the opportunity to explore local trails that connect our city. Base camp will start at the Kids on Bikes community bike center, which allows connection by trail onto Shooks Run, Greenway Trail, and Midland Trail. Each day, participants will ride to a new location by utilizing bike trails and some neighborhood streets. The goal is to ride to a new destination each day such as to the library, Garden of the Gods Visitor Center, Velodrome, Popcycle Bridge, Pulpit Rock and more. The focus of this camp is on cycling safety, trail etiquette, bicycle commuting as transportation and basic bike maintenance skills like changing flats and solving gear problems. Please bring a sack lunch, a backpack, water bottle and a jacket. To prepare for camp, please make sure your child is comfortable on dirt with two wheels before registering for this program and would be comfortable riding 8-10 miles (sounds like a lot but we take a lot of breaks!). 7193553573.0

The SMC Prospect Camp will run from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The camp offers top student athletes the chance to excel and compete in a learning environment. Players will receive extensive instruction in hitting, pitching, and fielding by SMC coaches while getting a chance to play in some competitive games. The White Sox Hitting Club will present your hitter with a step-by-step approach to hitting like a Major League player. The White Sox Hitting Club will cover plate coverage and stance, stepping into a hitting position, hand path and the lower body mechanics. There are hitting absolutes that must be present in each at bat to be successful. These absolutes make all the difference.
