Kid's Pursuit hosts Mega Sports Camp (ages K-5th Grade) - Minot, ND
Kids Pursuit is ready to bring MEGA Sports Camp to the community of Minot. Children entering K-5th Grade will get to spend each evening making friends, learning sports skills, and having FUN! Each night will start off with a large rally where the kids will get pumped up with music and dramas as they learn valuable sports related life lessons and learn about a God who LOVES them! Your child will get to sign up for a sport to focus on for the week. They can choose from Soccer, Basketball and Cheerleading! FREE- Type 1 Diabetes Teen Camp - Cornville, AZ
JDRF has partnered together with Camp Soaring Eagle to offer a FREE CAMP to Type One Diabetic children ages 8-15 to come experience the healing power of laughter! CSE offers two camper weekends dedicated to T1D kids in a session for Teens and a session for Youth. Youth T1D camp is for kids 8-12 and Teen T1D Camp is for kids 13-15. The camper session runs from Friday-Sunday. CSE provides the campers with opportunity to learn about diabetes management and encourages independent health care. Campers with diabetes feel normal because they see all their peers with the same challenging diagnosis. CSE provides a balanced diet and menu with all carb counts for all meals. The Maclean Animal Adoption Center will feature Kid's Summer Camp this summer at the Center. There wil be 6 1-week courses available for children entering grades 1-6. Capoiera THURS (grades 3-8) - University City Arts League
Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance and music. It was created in Brazil mainly by descendants of African slaves with Brazilian native influences. It is known by quick and complex moves, using mainly power, speed, and leverage for leg sweeps. Students work on physical coordination, group awareness, and communication. Students are recommended ( but not required) to take both the Monday and Thursday classes to get the most out of this program. STP Youth Tennis Camps Ages 7-10 - Meineke Recreation Center (MRC)
All camps will be taught with the new USTA 10 and under teaching style. Players will be grouped by ability and will learn all aspects of the game. Technical strokes, keeping score, rallying and competing. Players will have the ability to play in USTA play days held monthly. Literacy (M/W) - Office of Children, Youth & Learning
Children learn literacy skills through songs, poems, literacy centers, small and whole group activities, and read-alouds. Children engage in play and activities that are related to alphabet knowledge, phonological awareness, print knowledge, comprehension, reading and writing. The core of our literacy program was created at the Bank Street College of Education in New York. Meets twice per week. Sam Michaels Day Camp - Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Commission
Spend your summer vacation with us! Sam Michaels Day Camp offers 1 field trip per week, water day of Friday w/ inflatable water slide and weekly themed crafts and activities. T-shirt is included in camp price. Camp hours are 7:30am-5:30pm. Cost for camp is $125 per week (4th of July week is $100).Full payment is due at time of registration.
