LATEST CAMPS NEWS: JV/V (10-12 grades) Summer Football Camp - Seattle Preparatory School
The Seattle Prep, Varsity Football coaching staff is hosting an 11 day football camp for all returning JV or Varsity players, as well as any 10th-12th grade students interested in joining our football family. We strongly encourage all who intend to participate in football in the fall, attend this camp. Although the camp is a total of 25 days, we will only practice a total of 11 times. This allows for us to work around graduation, finals, and provide rest between practice days. This camp will provide our first opportunity for our new coaching staff to begin developing relationships with our players, teach philosophy and leadership skills, as well as install basic offensive, defensive, and special teams schemes that we will use in the fall. The emphasis of this camp will focus on teaching fundamental skills, general installs, and the More Than Winning philosophy of our program. The staffs goal is to provide each camper with a fun and exciting month of football, as we prepare for Team Camp, and the upcoming football season. So Many Things To Do
What I loved about Ocoee was that my child had lots of things to do. She wanted to try archery, riding horses and she was excited about the art part of the camp. She spent a lot of time with good friends that she’s known through Camp Ocoee and they played a lot of volleyball and basketball, but she said they also tried the BMX and water sports portions of the camp. Westlake / High School - Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church
**PLEASE NOTE: Grade level refers to rising grade level (the grade your child will enter in the fall of 2015).*** Campers spend three weeks working with a professional writer, who guides them in a number of creative pursuits: discovering new works of literature; creating poems, stories, and nonfiction; practicing the techniques of published authors; sharing work with peers; preparing work for publication; and performing work for an audience. All campers will receive a Badgerdog notebook, T-shirt, and water bottle. All campers will be published in a professionally bound anthology released in the fall. 512-542-0076
Baseball: The Milwaukee Brewers Academy - Patriots Hall
This is the official youth baseball/softball camp of the Milwaukee Brewers. In addition to 30 hours of professional-grade instruction, each camper will receive a full uniform, four tickets to a Brewers game, and a VIP Miller Park experience that will include meeting a current player. He/she will also participate in the Brewers Skills Competition with the top scorers competing on Champions Day at Miller Park. Camp is open to boys and girls ages 6-14 and runs M-F from 9am to 3pm. 2016 will be the fourth year of the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Academy. The Academy has earned the reputation as one of the finest baseball/softball camps in America. There is a family and friends discount available. This camp uses famous artists and illustrators as inspiration for creating artistic masterpieces. Campers will enjoy learning about artists such as Renoir, Degas, van Gogh, OKeeffe, and Picasso before creating their own impressionist paintings, clay sculptures, self-portraits, large flower paintings, and cubist compositions. We will also examine works of childrens book illustrators and create collages and paintings in their styles. Inspired Artists will be led by Brookwood Schools after-school instructor extraordinaire, Marleen Wood.
