Boot Camp Fitness Class to Support New York Road Runners' (NYRR) Youth
Join us on Sunday, July 10th for a special one-hour Boot Camp Fitness Class to support New York Road Runners' (NYRR) Youth Programs, which serve over 200,000 students annually with free running and fitness experiences. During this special Boot Camp Fitness Class hosted by Michelle Stiglitz, you will sweat your way through a series of various exercise all to support a good cause. The class will be held outdoors in Clove Lakes park. We will meet promptly at 9:00am on the Martling Avenue Bridge (near the Staten Island Zoo parking lot) Please bring a mat or towel and a bottle of water. *All fitness levels are welcome to participate! To sign up for this fun morning of outdoor fitness, a minimum donation of $25 per person is required. Please be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early. We will start promptly at 9:00 am. Annual Youth Retreat (CAMP) 40th Anniversary Celebrations - Holmes, NY
JESUS AT THE CENTER will be the theme for our gathering where we will celebrate 40 years of a vision that was provided by God to many of our sisters and brothers. We will meet up at camp to celebrate the past, plan for the future as old friends get reacquainted, leaders return to the place where they received or affirmed their call of service, and we give honor and glory to the One who has given us life abundantly. Summer Stretch Yoga Camp: 4th of July Theme - Marine Park Building
Weekly Theme: 4th of July Balance like a palm tree, roar like a lion, and stretch like a giraffe in this fun-filled yoga camp! Camp begins with a 40 minute class where students learn new poses and breathing techniques each day on an imaginary yoga adventure. Class ends by relaxing with peaceful music. After class, the excitement continues with yoga stories and games, a break for lunch, and a creative take-home art activity. Art projects are yoga themed and will relate to the poses learned that day. Fun activities throughout the week include parachute games, treasure hunts, outdoor craft time, face painting, and more! Yoga has been shown to improve focus, confidence, and coordination in children. Please bring a snack, lunch, and water. A $15 nonrefundable material fee is due to the instructor on the first day of camp. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION (for Santa Monica Residents only) runs March 2 (6 am) through March 8. Meet the Artists - Artists Exchange
Get to know some of art historys most famous characters and some you may not know yet! Classes will revolve around a specific artist each week, their life story and how they became so influential in the art world! We will also create a projects based on these artists work. Week Eight: Architecture Camp/Building Bridges (Ages 3-6) - PeaPods SchoolHouse
Campers will use STEM and different materials to engineer, design, and build a bridge. After building their bridge, campers will then test their bridge to see if it is strong enough to hold up an object. Together well build a city full of bridges! 603-703-1408

Mommy & Me Wednesday Mornings - EcoAdventures
March-April 2016 Wed AM 9:30-10:15, March 16 – April 27th (no class on 3/23 since AACPS is off) 6 week Session/ $85 Mommy & Me classes are for children ages 2.5 - 5 years old and their moms, dads, grandparents, caregivers, etc. This class meets for 45 minutes, once a week for 6 weeks. Dive into our hands-on ocean adventure as we explore these many facets of marine biology! Learn about sea mammals and the cleverness of an octopus, race a squid, learn to eat like a whale, build your own submarine, make your own fish print, examine tiny life under the microscope, explore why penguins wear those little tuxedos, and discover the endless uses of seaweed!
