This camp is a creative combination of art and space. Campers will use visual arts to explore the final frontier! Two dimensional projects, such as drawing, painting, and collage, will focus on design elements such as color, line, and shape. Using clay, campers will take inspiration from textures and patterns found in space when they learn the basics of hand building techniques and out-of-this-world wheel throwing. 03rd 2016 Camp, Buckaroo DAY Camp - Blue Point Stables
This Camp is a 5 (Five) Day Buckaroo Day Camp. Camp begins each day at 9:00 EST and ends at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. The Wednesday Night Overnight stay is offered only as an option, and has an additional charge. Campers are not required to select this option. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts, Horse Health and Welfare and Swimming Pool fun at the end of each day. Plus, making friends or renewing previous relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers have the option to purchase and challenge the test for a CHA riding level.
