14 Annual SE Houston Muslim Youth Camp - New Braunfels, TX
Age 13 to college young adult males Camp registration fees for 2016 are $100 per attendee. Registration closes on March 20th. The registration fee covers: *Transportation *Food *Tents *Supplies INTERESTED WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Due to camp accommodations we MUST have firm commitments. We will have youth lead group leaders, guest speakers, games, sport activities, campfires, skits, and much more on the Guadalupe River. REGISTRATION WILL INCREASE FOR LATE REGISTRATION, SO YOUR CONFIRMATION IS IMPERATIVE. Please contact Kabir or PM Chad Mohammed for any questions. Green Drinks & MDA Summer Camp Benefit - Ludlow, KY
The City of Cincinnati, New Sustainability Coord. Ollie Kroner, will be telling of the New plans for the city. Very excited to listen to him. Movement & Art Camp - Friendswood, TX
Kid Creations & Bay Area Pilates are teaming up for another 3-hour Movement & Art Camp. Kids will have FUN learning the benefits of pilates in a choreographed-for-kids pilates class for one hour and then will be escorted down the sidewalk to Kid Creations for two hours of arts and crafts. Snacks will be provided. Workshops can be attended separately. The cost is $45 for both. To come to Kid Creations alone from 1:00-3:00pm, the cost is $30. June 6-9: Natural Crafts (Ages 9-12) - Mountain Kids!
Be inspired by the natural world as you explore the surrounding mountains, collect natural materials, and create your own eco-art! Projects will include: making paint from rocks we collect, collecting clay and making pinch pots or other imaginative creations, nature collage, and felted beads. Of course, we will also adventure into the mountains and for plenty of good old-fashioned fun! 505-699-6230

Tennis Champions Camp - EA Tennis Courts
Tennis Champions Camp will mix areas such as stroke technique, shot selection, and court awareness with actual play. Players will receive focused instruction in various areas of tennis, allowing them to develop and improve their overall tennis game. During the camp, athletes will hit thousands of balls, improve their technique, and be challenged in various camp competitions. 847 695-0309 x259

Sous Chef - Goleta Presbyterian Church
Price includes $45 lab fee. Does your camper enjoy watching Chopped or Iron Chef?" on T.V? Using recipes from around the world, Sous Chef is a perfect adventure for any child who loves to eat and wants to learn to cook! Activities and cooking experiments allow aspiring chefs to explore the science behind cooking and try different foods, while learning cooking basics. Chefs will bake, prep food, follow a recipe, stir-fry, use a slow cooker, sauté, churn butter, discover changes in food properties, and make ice cream. This is a course for beginning "Chefs", and will include a variety of healthy entrees with chicken or beef, salads, vegetarian dishes, breads, and low sugar desserts! 805-570-1988

Two - Windrush Farm
This summer, give your children four days at Windrush Farm. It is an outdoor experience your child will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Children will learn about ranch animals and how to take care of them. They will meet chickens, goats, sheep, cows, llamas, and our favorite dogs. They collect eggs from the chickens and work in the vegetable gardens, learning where their food comes from besides the grocery store. Exploring in the pond, crafting farm art, working with wool, and making barn shaking music are a few of the activities your children take part in. On Thursday we will celebrate the work we have done with a pizza party in the wood-burning outdoor oven. 707 364-9929

Reading Dont let the summer pass you by without reading an exciting book! Using Readers Workshop research-based skills, campers learn and refine reading and comprehension skills. Children are assessed and instruction modified accordingly. Choose level books from our collection or bring your own favorite books. Our trained staff helps you read and understand the story, which increases your reading stamina. Children love to come into our reading space, that is set up for inviting activities! Our goals are to promote a positive attitude towards becoming a lifelong learner and help children gain confidence in their academic skills.
