This course reviews and assesses mastery of the high school core skills as applied to one fundamental topic from each of the Level 2 trimesters. From the physics trimester the topic is projectile motion, from the chemistry trimester the topic is stoichiometry, and from the biology trimester the topic is natural selection. Kid's Night In-Parent's Night Out! - Fosston, MN
We are offering a Kid’s Night In at Camp so parents can have a date night. This month's theme is FALL FUN. The night will include camp activities,fall themed crafts, games, pizza and applesauce for dinner and a movie. (if your child has dietary restrictions, please send something to eat with them.) 1st Event of 2016: Oblivion - Columbus, IN
Something that has been toying with the New Sanctuary for a long time finally gets down to brass tacks. Big changes occur in the world, new horrors appear, bad stuff happens to good people, and the smart folks will bring their own in-game light sources. This is a full weekend long immersive LARP experience. The price is $60 for players who will need to bring sleeping bags, toiletries, extra socks, costumes, weapons, spell packets, and extra badass to withstand a weekend of imagination and adventure. Meals in the tavern are an additional cost, but hearty and well worth it. NPCs pay $15, and don't need to bring costuming. Their admission fee covers their meals as well. NPCs need to bring dark clothes they can move in, sturdy shoes, extra socks, sleeping bag, and toiletries. We ask that people try to get to the site by 8 so that they can have time to get into costume and go through registration before lay on at 10. We will be able to arrive on site as early as 3 PM. Teen Coding camp 2 - Saint John, WA
We have schedule a second computer coding camp for July 18 @ 1:00 for grades 6-12. Part 2 is a two-hour camp that introduces teens to robotics engineering with a line patterning RedBot. Teens will add to coding skills learned in Part 1 to instruct RedBot to follow simple to complex line patterns. Children through young adults with HFA/Aspergers Syndrome have the opportunity to explore the art of improv, drama, and music with their peers. Drama Club is directed by a drama professional and music therapist who have extensive experience working with children and adults on the spectrum.This group provides participants with the opportunity to improve their communication skills within a small group or in front of a larger audience. Research has shown that children who participate in Drama/Acting activities improve their ability to react and respond to imaginary situations and feelings and eventually generalize these skills into their daily living.
