Armed with the power of magic you can do anything! Take a ride on a dragon and imagine you have magical powers. Build your own magic wand, compile a spell book and mix potions, all within the walls of our magical school of art. Exploring clay, drawing, painting, 3D construction and more, participants will complete an assortment of individual and group projects in each weeks theme, culminating in a showcase at the end of each camp, followed by the unveiling of an installation at our 9th annual Fall Out of Summer Arts Festival in September. 401-490-9475

This camp is recommended for girls ages 8 through 16 years of age. My 13 year old daughter attended Mountain Top Summer Dance Camp. What she liked about it surprised me. She really enjoyed the camaraderie of other girls who shared her passion for dance. At the end of the camp, the girls all held a talent show, and they performed for the parents. Theater 3 - Improv Extravaganza - Artists Exchange
Jump in, be big and bold, laugh, and learn the basics of acting through the wild, wonderful world of improvisation! Learn to think quickly on your feet and act from the top of your head in this fun, silly, and engaging camp. Play and perform favorite short form improv games, including those seen on TVs hit show Whose Line Is It Anyway?. Students gain confidence in public speaking, expressing themselves using their body and voice, and facing fears of stage fright and performance anxiety. No experience necessary; come one and come all. Class culminates in an original improv show for family and friends; written, created, hosted, and performed by the students. All One Day Camps feature in person instruction by the University of Cincinnati Football Coaches, along with many other coaches from FBS, FCS, Division II, and Division III level Colleges. Session 3 - Team Camp - Florida Southern College
The goal of this camp is to spend 4 days having a blast playing the game of volleyball, learning new techniques, developing team chemistry and exposing teams to new concepts and strategies. The coaches will cover individual skills (passing, setting, attacking, blocking, serving) as well as team concepts (offensive systems, defensive patterns, serve receive patterns, transition). There will be a day and a half of training followed by two days of competition. Individuals may also attend. They will be skill tested and put on teams. Craniosacral Balancing 1 - Kansas City
Mondays, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21, 3/28 and Wednesdays 3/16, 3/23 and 3/30 In this class, the student will be introduced to the craniosacral system of the human body, comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. The emphasis in Craniosacral Therapy is to help resolve the trapped forces that underlie and govern patterns of disease in both body and mind. This involves the practitioner "listening through the hands" to the bodys subtle craniosacral rhythms to detect patterns of inertia or congestion. With this light touch modality – generally using only 5 – 6 grams of pressure – the practitioner can evaluate and treat restrictions in the craniosacral system offering relief to the client who suffers from migraines, autism, central nervous system disorders, chronic neck and back pain, stress, fibromyalgia and so much more. By popular demand, Stanford University Sports Medicine will be opening its doors again to expose its unique methods of medical care for the nations most elite athletes. The programs expert level clinicians will provide hands-on instruction of topics from the very basics of sports medicine care to the integration of cutting edge approaches to injury prevention, rehabilitation, and athletic performance. The program includes: Anatomy and Musculoskeletal Injury Emergency Preparedness Injury and Illness Prevention Movement and Performance Located in the heart of the Silicon Valley, see firsthand how advanced technologies positively impact injury recovery and training. Recommended for high school students interested in sports medicine or a career in athletic training. Specifically for those with no experience in Sports Medicine and students who have not taken a sports medicine class.
