Rogue Robots: LEGO Robotics Camp - San Angelo, TX
Robots aren’t just inventions in a galaxy far, far away— they exist here on Earth, at your local library! Join us this Winter Break for a Star Wars-themed robotics camp. Each day we’ll watch a clip from the movies, and build a LEGO robot inspired by the film. The library will be hosting two four-day camps—attending all four days is not mandatory, but each class will build upon the previous classes. No prior experience in LEGO robotics necessary, but seating is limited so RSVP is required. Call (325-655-7321), email ([email protected]), Facebook message (TGCL Teen Republic), or drop by in person to reserve seats! Sign-ups will open November 21! This is a Teen Republic program, open only to patrons in grades 6-12. Free of charge. We will meet from 3-4:30pm in the Community Room.

Your camper is guaranteed to have a great summer in Camp Buckeye! Buckeye campers will create beautiful works of art, learn new games and get an introduction into classic sports like soccer. Each Wednesday, Buckeyes will get in touch with their creative side with music and enrichment activities. These campers can frequently be seen splashing in our tot pool or if they pass the swim test, hurtling down the water slides in the main pool. Where: NDP baseball field About: This coed soccer session will run for three consecutive Wednesdays for 1st-4th graders: 6/15, 6/22 and 6/29 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Athletes will go through a skills session focusing on ball control, passing and shooting, followed by a scrimmage. What to wear/bring: Athletic attire, soccer shoes, soccer socks, shin guards, any other necessary soccer equipment, towel and water bottle. Please note our new cancellation policy.
