LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Adventure Sailing M,W,F ($215 for 1 week, Members) - Nantucket Yacht Club
Please select a minimum of one week. The class, which meets 3 days a week, will have a distinct goal for each day: Long Sail Day - try to sail as far as possible from the club using wind direction, current/tide forecast, and navigational aides. During the following class the student will chart their course on a chart in the Sail Room with pins and yarn, and we can compare progress week to week. Star Chart Day - Students identify skills from the star chart they want to achieve (Anchoring, knots, upwind sailing, etc), and finally Catamaran Day! Students may take this course for a maximum of 4 weeks, and class may not be held if less than 2 children are signed up. The goal of Adventure Sailing is to accumulate the skills for the student to check out a Rhodes 19 on their own. (Note: Adventure Sailing will not be held during Race Week.) 508-228-1400

Teen & Campus Fall Kickoff - Manhattan Beach, CA
Here are the details of the 2nd Annual Teen and Campus Fall Kickoff! The location is going to be the Mira Costa High School Auditorium at: 1401 Artesia Blvd. Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 United States The worship and lesson will go from 6:30pm - 8pm, and from 8pm-9:30pm we will have a College Fair! Each campus ministry of the LA Church will be represented. Martin Chairez will be our main speaker of the night, as we give an incredible vision of staying focused in this harvest season. We highly encourage the parents of the Juniors and Seniors to come, to get any questions answered during the college fair and to catch a vision for what the coming years will hold for their student. This is going to be an awesome night and we can’t wait to see you there!

Let colors and shapes drive the art-making process while exploring a variety of media! Campers will get inspiration from Picasso and Jackson Pollock as they paint and draw their own creative masterpieces. All materials are provided for youth & teen classes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To receive member pricing, please purchase a membership by visiting [] activecommunities.com/indianapolisartcenter/Membership [] An information packet including a welcome letter and class syllabus will be emailed to parents one week prior to the first day of camp. Farm Hands Camp is one of our most popular programs all year and we know why. Whether it is mucking out the stalls, collecting eggs, working in the garden or learning how to halter a sheep, there is never a dull moment on the farm! Although activities can vary depending on the day and age of the participants, we always try to instill the message that we are responsible for our own health, the health of our animals and for the care of this special place. Each day your child can expect to participate in chores in both the barnyard and garden. Of course, no Farm Hands experience would be complete without making new friends, games and nibbling fresh veggies fresh from the garden. We offer two types of programs. First, we have age specific programs. These sessions are a good fit for children that have attended camp year in and year out and like to have different age appropriate themes that build each year. They are also a great opportunity for children to meet other campers that are the same age and may be in school or other community programs with them.
