Hammers and Strings Camp with Betty Brinn Childrens Museum August 8-12, 9am-4pm Grades 3-5 Drop-off: McIntosh|Goodrich Mansion Pick-up: Betty Brinn Children?s Museum Perform experiments, be an inventor and discover what makes music "work" in this new camp, designed in collaboration between Conservatory faculty and the creative team of the Be A Maker Space at Betty Brinn Childrens Museum. Youll learn basic music skills, then delve even further to reveal the science behind the music. Math competition camp (Grades 4-5) - The Oakwood School
This summer math camp is intended to prepare students for participation in math competitions at the elementary level. The competitions included in this mathlete preparation include Math Olympiad, Noetic Math Competition, and regional math competitions. Students will utilize questions from previous competitions and other preparatory materials, individually and in groups, to prepare for individual and team competition environments as well as speed round competitions. The goal of this week-long camp is to provide a fun, interactive, and stimulating environment where mathletes can develop their problem-solving abilities, increase the depth and breadth of their math knowledge, and rise to a new level of competitive skill. 2529310760.0

Feeding Frenzy - EcoAdventures
Feeding Frenzy: March 22 YUM YUM..its feeding time at Ecoadventures, and theres no better place to be! Crickets, worms, mice, flies, fish,..you never know whats on the menu, but its sure to be gobbled up!! Feeding time at EA is a busy, busy, day and we need your help to make sure all the hungry mouths get their fair share. Throughout the day, a few participants at a time will go behind the scenes with the EA staff and assist in animal husbandry and care. Throughout the day the feeding frenzy will continue...you might see a snake swallow its meal whole, a croc do a death roll on its lunch, or a chameleons long tongue rocket out to grab a cricket. Learn about carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores, and how animals eat. Play games, make a craft, and even a few snacks of your own as you will definitely work up an appetite! Healthcare Exploration Academy - LeTourneau University
Are you interested in becoming a healthcare professional, doctor, nurse, etc.? Then this camp is for YOU! You will learn skills professionals use every day in the hospital. Campers will have hands-on learning experiences working as healthcare providers. Activities will include learning how to take blood pressures, apply personal protective equipment, listen to heart and lung sounds, give injections, start IVs, suture wounds, participate in a simulation scenario and much more.
