What I like about this camp is my kids can choose between a day camp (for ages 5-12), an overnight camp (for ages 9-13) or a specialty camp (ages 11-17). Learn about apex predators like orcas, sharks, giant squid, and osprey and find out some incredible strategies the prey of these predators utilize to avoid detection. Analyze the animals in the NESS touch tanks for interesting behaviors and dissect a shark. Includes: dissection, 1 boat trip, & snorkeling 860-535-9362

Sports instruction designed for preschool children to keep young athletes focused, active and having fun. They may explore soccer, basketball, football, T-ball, tennis and golf. Using special kid-friendly terms, your child will learn proper techniques for each sport, fundamentals of scoring, rules and terminology. Class includes proper warm-up, cardio exercise, muscle toning, hand-eye coordination drills, and speed and agility exercises. Children will have fun with a sports craft. Skyhawks Volleyball takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it together into one fun-filled camp. All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercises that focus on passing, setting, hitting and serving. This co-ed program is designed for the beginning and intermediate player. Our volleyball staff will assist each athlete in developing fundamental skills through game-speed drills, daily scrimmages aimed at developing the whole player. Please wear appropriate clothing and bring two snacks, knee pads, and water bottle. All participants receive a t-shirt,volleyball and player evaluation.
