8 Classes Calling all silly kids! Join us for a fun filled drama class that will have your kids splitting their sides with laughter while acting out amazing scenarios. Students will learn the ropes of good improvisation skills while exploring these kooky characters and silly stories. Improvisation will help them gain confidence, think on their feet, and work as an ensemble to tell a story. This class is perfect for the shy student who needs to be comfortable in front of the class or the class clown who has some wacky characters up their sleeves. Join us for a fun-filled day experiencing an interactive storytelling adventure about the myth of King Midas! Each student will decorate a golden mask and participate in recreating the story. Students will also learn about Turkey and the cultural traditions of the land where King Midas once ruled. We will also explore the rich and colorful patterns of Turkish tiles, and each student will design and decorate their own tile to take home. A mid-morning snack will be served. Choice indoor and outdoor activities will be offered, as well as a walk to Taney Park, weather permitting. Please pack a lunch (including a beverage) in a disposable bag.
