Escape From City Life
Canyon Creek is just about an hour’s drive outside LA and I’m really glad we took our kids. They learned a lot about several different sports and seemed to be really excited when we picked them up. It is near a large lake and is a beautiful area. The camp was huge and had many sporting facilities. All of the equipment seemed to be new and the camp counselors were great with the kids. Sewing Camp is offered to children ages 6-14. This year we will be working on a number of machine projects as well as some hand sewing. There is no experience necessary. I'm very excited about the projects we have selected. I think the children will absolutely love what they accomplish during this week of camp! And they will learn a lot! Robotics Adventures - College Prep Middle
Robotics Adventures – (5th Grade) Students will build a Robot using Mindstorms robotics equipment. Students will then learn how to program and manipulate the Robot with coding on a laptop. There is a limit to 16 children for the class. The curriculum for the Robotics Club is different for each quarter, allowing for new material to be added per quarter. But the different curriculum also allows for new students to join in without having had previous Robotics experience. Students do not need to bring anything to the Club.
