We will be attending Summer Camp at The Calvary Chapel Christian Camp in Green Valley California. You must be 8th grade going into 9th grade through graduating Seniors to attend this camp. Theme for camp this year is: Philippians 3:3 “For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.” We will explore 3 questions throughout the week. We are so exited to announce our kids cooking camp! This is a three day camp to be held inside the beautiful Majestic Hall at Walnut Grove. The Camp will include: Day 1 Homemade muffins, strawberry, blueberry, bananas, or chocolate chip Making Pizza from scratch Day 2 Southwest Egg Rolls Quesadillas Day 3 Spring Rolls Stir Fried Noodles with Veggies Each Day will include - snack preparation 10-11 - snack time 11-11:30 - actvity break 11:30 - 12:30 - entree preparation 12:30 - 1:30 - eating time 1:30 - 2:00 Camp fee is $225 per child ages 6-12 We are concerned with the safety of the children atteneding our camp. With this in mind we will not be using knives, all cuttting preparation will be done ahead of time. We will have an adult leader to help oversee each of our cooking stations and we are maxing attendance at 10 children to enusre their safety. We specialize in cattering to those with food allergies. Every kid learns at their own pace. I am here to teach them about horses and riding, while being safe and aware. If they are soaring, I let them soar and will continue teaching them new things. If they need to slow down and work on some smaller things, then they get to. This young age group is here to learn and have fun doing it. Since humans began communicating, there has always been an urge to keep certain information underground: intended for certain eyes only and unreadable to all others. In this course, youll study, crack (decipher) and create (encipher) messages in a variety of cipher systems and historical contexts. Although youll time-hop throughout history and make stops with Julius Caesar, Ben Franklin and Abe Lincoln, among many others, youll end with an exploration of how cryptography--the study of codes and ciphers--has kept up with, and even created, the modern digital age. This is a recreational & competitive level camp open to boys and girls 4-14 years old. Players will improve their technical abilities with the soccer ball through practicing proper mechanics of dribbling, passing and receiving. Dribbling & passing reside at the core of technical progression in order to become a skilled and intelligent player. After completion of the Dribbling & Passing camp, we recommend progressing to the Attacking & Defending camp. This middle school volleyball camp focuses on individual player development and teamwork. attention is given to technique, skill and confidence so each camper improves as a volleyball player and develops a love for the game. All skill levels welcome! Sarah brings an extensive background in indoor and beach volleyball. As a junior in college she played for the Cals Indoor Volleyball team as an outside hitter and defensive specialist. Entering her senior year at UC Berkeley, Cole plans to finish her degree in integrative biology and continue her volleyball career as a current member of the Cals Womens Beach Volleyball Team. She is a AAA rated sand volleyball player and has coached for Presentation High School, City Beach Volleyball Club, Cal Summer Camps, and Piedmont Middle School. This class will explore cubist artist such as Picasso and Braque. Students will create their very own cubist work of art in clay while learning basic techniques of using slabs to create 3/D form. Students will learn basic and intermediate techniques of slab application, handbuilding, texture application, and glass fusion into clay.
