Not all camps are co-ed. There are some single-gender camps available in addition to traditional co-ed programs.
Single-gender camps are great if parents want their children to focus on empowerment and independence. Many youth today are distracted by the other gender, and this is a chance to give kids a break so that they learn how to be friends with their peers. Many of these programs work with nearby groups so that the campers can get off camp and interact with a variety of people.

TBA camps are designed for all climbing levels. Kids will learn a variety of climbing skills such as body awareness, technique, and problem reading through fun games and activities. Campers will also be able to participate in playful yoga classes, game time, and have personal climbing instruction from the teachers. Great Escape is partnering with Pleasant Hill Parks & Recreation to host a week long bowling camp. Attendees will be divided into age groups to learn fundamentals such as approach, delivery, hand position, release, spot bowling, and spare conversions. Certified bowling instructors will be instructing the camp. Time to shake off the winter and say hello to the spring! Fugitive Spring Camp is the perfect opportunity for all ages and experience to learn to run, jump, climb, vault, roll, swing, flip and more from the most experienced staff in Dallas. Fugitive campers will be exposed to tips, drills, and games that build strength, mobility, coordination, teamwork, and leadership while reinforcing good technique in all the major methods of movement. A series of 4 in-depth workshops all about fun types of movement provide campers with the best parkour training possible at the first and only parkour facility in DFW! They will improve their skills in the controlled environment of The Asylum, and then test their ability with games and challenges all under the guidance of our certified staff. Campers will create muppet-type puppets of their favorite Star Wars characters, or other characters: Minions, super-heroes, or animals. Their imagination is the limit! Instructors: Joan and Michael Liles This camp may be combined with: Tween Potters, Combined Cost: $280 OR Little Explorers Art Camp, Combined Cost: $230 *** A minimum $50 deposit each camp is due at sign-up (non-refundable). *** The remaining balance is due by first day of camp. 502-241-6018

Meal A meal will be provided to the camper at the end of the camp. What to Bring Each camper receives a camp T-shirt check-in. This is a non-contact camp, so football pads are not needed. T-shirts and shorts are required for all practice sessions. Each camper will be provided a UT jersey to wear during the course of the camp. At the conclusion of the camp, the camper MUST return the jersey to the managers.

Led by Marta Franzen, you will learn how to plan and organize issues; write news and feature stories; illustrate and edit stories; and publish and sell a newspaper.
